The event was held to celebrate the Fortune Marching Band scholars. Everything was wonderful and beautifully decorated with the school’s colors. Mered along with her friend did an awesome job in bringing everything together. The venue was clean with plenty of parking in the overflow area. Mered provided “It’s a Romo Thing Photo Booth” and was stationed in the corner with unlimited access to self serve photos. I would definitely keep this place for future events.

Words are not enough to express the level of customer service we experienced with Shelah and her amazing staff. From my initial inquiry, Shelah was responsive and helpful. The original date was taken, but she called me back to let me know the date had become available, which immediately showed her attention to detail and willingness to support. I was given one month to source a venue that met all of my client’s requirements, and this event space offered that and more. My client needed a venue close enough to the conference location, while also being accessible for guests traveling on their own. 1442 on The Blvd checked those boxes. Let’s start with communication. Shelah was prompt, helpful, and willing to work around the clock to ensure all of my questions were answered in a timely manner. The client portal was also great. Everything from scheduling a virtual tour to booking an in-person tour was simple. I was able to view the property through the 360-degree venue tour, which honestly sold me. I did a 50th Birthday party for my husband. It had to be planned from Palm Springs, as he is from Sacramento. It was a full service event and they provided everything! (You do have to buy your own alcohol and drinks, no big deal). Shelah was an absolute joy to work with along with her very professional, yet fun event staff. There wasn't a detail overlooked. If the family has future events, we will definitely be back to 1442 on the Blvd. I cannot give enough praise to this venue and the mastermind behind it all: Shelah Choyce. You will not regret this venue. It's the perfect place for events and parties.

From the moment we walked in, Shelah Choyce and her incredible team made the entire experience effortless, joyful, and absolutely stunning. Shelah is a true professional—warm, organized, creative, and committed to bringing every vision to life. Her staff matched that same energy: friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the night unforgettable. Every detail was executed beautifully, and the space transformed into the perfect setting for such a milestone celebration. If you’re searching for a venue… stop. The party was amazing. Everything turned out just the way I expected. I put all my trust into Shelah and her team, they absolutely delivered. Everything we discussed—everything I envisioned—they brought to life. Honestly… wow. The staff was super nice and helpful—whatever we needed, they had it ready. The whole vibe was just great. My family hasn’t stopped talking about the party—how beautiful everything was, how perfect the decorations came out. The black, red, and gold colors really popped with the masquerade theme. We’re already planning to have another party there. I honestly recommend 1442 on the Boulevard to anyone looking to throw a party—big or small. It’s the perfect spot.
