I normally do not leave reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared. While I was sitting in the dental chair during my appointment, the receptionist came into the back area and loudly stated in front of staff and other patients that I was “not covered,” even though my insurance was in fact active. The situation was handled in a very public, embarrassing, and unprofessional way. What bothered me most was not even the insurance confusion itself, because mistakes can happen. It was the lack of professionalism, discretion, and basic etiquette. Insurance and billing conversations should be handled privately and respectfully, especially in a healthcare setting where patients are already in a vulnerable position. Instead, the interaction felt rude, dismissive, and uncomfortable. Looking back, I honestly took the experience as a sign that I was at the wrong dental office for me. In a strange way, I’m grateful it happened because it led me to contact my provider directly and find a much better dentist office that treated me with kindness, professionalism, patience, and respect from the very beginning. The difference was night and day. I hope this office takes professionalism

I want to thank the 680 Dental Office, and specifically, Dr. Edegar Vargas for the excellent service I received from them on my visit to get a second opinion on dental work I needed. Dr. Vargas thorough and expert examination and opinion reduced my anxiety, saved me thousands of dollars and possible complication and pain from unnecessary procedures. I later visited the dental office again to have a dental cavity filled and was extrmeley pleased with their work. As a senior, it is particularly important to find a dentist who is competent, trustworthy, and fair; and office staff who is efficient and friendly. Dr. Vargas and Staff definitely fit that bill and I will continue to use their services in the future.

I have had many bad experiences with dentists,edegar and his staff were absolutely amazing! You would never expect a dentist that accepted medi-cal to be so great! He truly is concerned about your comfort and your health. If you are anywhere near San Jose,I would recommend this dentist to anyone.( especially if dentists make you nervous) They take the time that each person needs to be comfortable and they do great work! Thanks again to everyone at 680 dental care!
