Acurrúcame Café is a popular, Mexican-owned vibrant coffee shop in Los Angeles' Boyle Heights neighborhood, known for its specialty lattes with Mexican-inspired flavors. The café offers a cozy atmosphere, making it a suitable spot for enjoying specialty drinks or pastries. I came early morning to grab a hot Latte. And it was purffect to my liking. Similarly, I had a Cinnamon raisin bagel x cc and it's okay. Service was spot on. Staff were cordial and assiduous. Interior decor is adorable. Street parking only. Overall, it's a good coffee shop in el barrio. :D

This might be a good spot for mixed drinks. However, if you are looking for classic beverages, the photos in reviews from a few years ago do not reflect the current reality. The milk was severely overheated, which completely ruined the drink. Otherwise, I liked the availability of seating and a restroom, as well as the bright interior—they create a professional coffee shop atmosphere. If they work on their technique, I’m confident everything will be great.

Great coffee with unique flavors. The service was even better—it feels like a cool family-run business, and they were super helpful with recommendations. We ended up trying the mazapán and pistachio iced coffees, and both were excellent. Really nice balance of flavor without being overly sweet. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

Needless to say, we were blown away—expectations met in the best way. The flavors are unique yet balanced, with a silky smoothness that lingers on the palate. I didn’t catch the roast level (medium, I’d wager, based on that velvety profile), but it was spot-on. The folks up front—pretty sure they’re the owners—have an uncanny knack for reading your vibe and steering you toward the ideal drink. On a whim, they poured us their personal favorite, as they thought it synced perfectly with my craving for something bright and eye-opening. First-timer here, and already hooked. We started with two pours, but my husband couldn’t resist grabbing four more “to-go cups” (essentially concentrated iced coffee, sans ice, so he could savor them over the next few days without dilution). Their rotating specialty lineup ties into holidays and seasons—dropped on Instagram—but the real magic is swinging by unannounced as a new wave drops.
