The staff was friendly, and they had a decent food selection. The store itself looked a little tired—there were buckets catching leaks and it could definitely use a makeover. I also had a run-in with a creeper, but I don't think that was listed on the weekly specials. Overall, it's a perfectly serviceable grocery store.

On June 17, 2026 @ 11:30am. My first time ever at ALBERTSONS in California and I must say. Glad I chose this location. Parking garage was ok, a bit tricking exiting. Don't be discouraged about the location in the city. Security was everywhere. Felt safe during my shopping experience. Lots of options. A grocery store with an escalator was pretty cool. I came here for my discounted DEL MAR FAIR ticket. A must for saving money. Food looked amazing for quick grab and go and groceries. Well stocked. Will definitely shop here again.

Every time I've been there it's just been way below par basic basic customer service level is it even there. I went there to get a money order which I confirmed yesterday they offer from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. I went there at about 1:30. And there was a closed sign on the counter the lady was walking away and I said oh wow your clothes I mean they're not supposed to close till 2:00. But actually she said something to me that I couldn't understand that she was walking away she did not stop in her dress me she did not explain the situation she just simply blurted out like two or three times because I kept saying I couldn't hear her I didn't know what she was saying I had to have a repeat herself and she said no worker. That's what it was no worker. I did never understood what she said so the people at the Starbucks no worker and it took me a minute to register what they said as well I had to clarify it with them. And they said in fact that they just didn't have anyone to work it today and so I asked him does this happen often and they said yes. That's really not cool. Number one I mean I do deserve to be at least talk to you like a normal person not just shouted something as they'

I just left here VERY dissatisfied. I had a security guard clock me in a very obtrusive way from the MOMENT l walked in the store. He carried it on up until I went to the register to pay. I finally said to him to stop making me feel uncomfortable by his obtuse behavior and he tried to play dumb. I then flagged the manager down and he was complicit with the security guard's behavior. Seeing that this type of mistreatment of the customers is tolerated and quietly encouraged by the management here, I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING HERE ANYMORE. I had been shopping here since 2011, and they have lost a GREAT customer!
