Fantastic school with great teachers and a large variety of classes. My level of French has improved dramatically and I have regained the confidence to speak it. The teachers are also amazing at creating a sense of community. Highly recommend

Both of my children took classes at the Alliance Francaise of Los Angeles for many years. They always had excellent teachers, learned a great deal, and were always happy to go to these classes. I have also attended many cultural events at the Alliance over the years, from movies to art lectures. The Alliance brings a lovely and unpretentious French touch to everything it does (including wine and cheese at just about every event:-) in a conveniently located, and simple yet stylish setting. Everything is just top notch. Highly recommend.

Teachers are very patient and good at explaining the topics being studied. Everyone is given pretty much the same amount of individual attention. You read out loud, do exercises in class and at home, write, work on grammar, understanding and interpreting literary works and their authors, etc. Great training.
