Pretty nice theater it's kind of oddly organized. But the seats are pretty nice. The parking is expensive because you have to pay the Americana parking rates. I suggest just park across the street at the Glendale galleria which is free.

I would give a higher review, if it weren't so crowded all the time. I have a handicapped elderly that enjoys going there, he's been going there for 30+ years. But these days he needs to be wheelchaired everywhere, I just wish there was more elevators or at least larger elevators there at the Americana. Whether we're going to the amc or to the cheesecake factory or anything there, a lot of people. We had to wait 3 rounds of up and downs from the 3rd floor due to the elevators being packed like sardines. Please people, if you are able bound for the love of Chuck Norris, use the escalators. I understand how convenient the elevator must be to get to our destinated floor 15-35 seconds faster is beyond bizarre 😳 πŸ˜…, people these days. So self absorbed that they would rather inconvenience a person with a handicap than themselves. Shameful. LOVELEY movie theater though, 10/10 if I could. Sorry I just can't with 2 tiny elevators to get to you guys.

l've been to the movies many times but this theatre is by far the best theatre I've ever been to. It's like stepping into another universe. Everyone who works here is amazing. The place is huge and clean. They offer great menu AND bar. The reclining seats are next level. I always do back row matinee and it's like my own home theatre. Bathrooms are huge and clean and I love this place so much I'm buying a membership.

My husband and I just had a very disappointing experience at AMC The Americana at Brand 18. We purchased tickets for the Super Mario Galaxy movie weeks in advance for the 12:30 AM showing. If it's this late, it's should start on time, especially considering that it's a week day! Unfortunately, the experience (auditorium 17) was extremely frustrating from start to finish! First, the movie started approximately 30 minutes LATE, with no communication or explanation from staff. When it finally began, there was NO sound for the first few minutes, which disrupted the start of the movie and overall experience! In addition, it felt as though the air conditioning was not working, and the theater became uncomfortably hot. We were sweating throughout the movie, which made it very difficult to enjoy what should have been a fun and exciting experience! To make matters worse, when the movie ended (around 3:00 AM), the theater room was left in complete darkness. There were no lights turned on, making it difficult to gather our belongings and safety exit the theater. There were also no staff members available to assist or address the situation. Overall, this experience did not meet even the b

This place has gone downhill in a major way over the years. The seats are stained and dirty, there’s not enough people working and it’s hard to know what theater your movie is in. Last night I walked in and the guy said theater 2. After I got a drink from the bar (from a girl that was actually polite and gave great service, a rarity at this establishment) I walked toward where you enter the actual theater rooms and couldn’t find my theater. I walked in circles a few times and there was no usher or anyone for that matter to say where to go so I had to ask the concession stand where it was. I walked right by it because there is nothing but a number in front of the entrance, nothing saying what is playing behind that door, no posters, no fanfare, nothing. Theaters 1 and 2 look like closets, there’s no way I would’ve expected them to be the actual screens in those rooms. We hear all the time about how theaters are dying but their own fault, it’s not fun to be there anymore. I want to walk through one of these places and see the posters for the movies that are playing in the halls and in front of the door to that respective theater. What happened to having the movies listed on that gian
