From the many years the American Plaza was one of the many tall stations the the Trolley was being built with the many locations it was one that was the starting point of the trolley. For the many areas along the Cst and the City center you could say the Cst Trolley line the busy Trolley line for the Blue Line. American Plaza was known as the Movie Location for the Demolition Man with the connection to the LaJolla Area. You can transfer at the American Plaza Station for the San Diego International for the airport stops at the trolley station. American Plaza is the Transfer and the Switch back station to the San Ysidro you can take the Blue Line Trolley to the Border for the Train Station you can catch the Green Line to the East County and to the 12th & Imperial where you can catch the Orange Line. The American Plaza is one that had welcomed the Group of Men known as Teams for the special museum was opened at the American Plaza Transit Station. The museum that was opened for the Navy seals the Men of the Special Service that go anywhere at a moments notice. Historical location. Has been used for filming IE, Simon & Simon. Had parking at the front area, now an un used water fountain. There is a second floor that has some history to but they won't share that information. If you don't have a ticket can't sit inside or use the public restroom

Your basic Trolley station with a Starbucks nearby. Also great to stop here to get to the Train Station. Yes the Blue Line stopd in it. You can get some good photos of tge Station walking from America Plaza

Beautiful station for the light rail. Sorounding buildings and area are very beautiful here!

America Plaza Station is a nice transfer spot simply because it is covered and provides shade. San Diego has great weather but it still gets pretty warm. Otherwise, the ticket vending machines work and the platform is clean.
