This was the first thrift store I really loved. Came here with my mom over 12 years ago. Things have really changed. Everything is so overpriced, as if they purchased the items to resell for a profit, when in actuality, they are all donated! I saw some decent christmas ornaments (those Hallmark Keepsake ones) priced between $6-10, which is even more ridiculous than Goodwill’s prices! This thrift shop used to be my favorite place, but I only find myself going if I work up the courage to feel disappointed lol.

I used to love this thrift store and always recommended it to people. Recently I’ve noticed big changes there and do not like going anymore. First off, they stopped allowing their stamp cards but didn’t at least honor the cards for those people who already had them so that got me upset because I was only one stamp away from getting my $10 off. They should honor them to their loyal customers who already had one prior to them canceling the cards. And secondly they have raised their prices so much. They used to be affordable and have a wide selection of kids clothes and toys. Yesterday I went and their kids section has shrunk in size tremendously! I couldn’t believe how little of clothing and toys they had. I was very disappointed and will stick to going to “affordable treasures” thrift store. Their prices are unbeatable and customer service is way better. AM vets thrift has rude workers. They never greet you and always look so unhappy as they ring you up.

I visit and search often to find some amazing deals. Wednesdays are when I come here, the discount for seniors 55+ is just 10%, used to be 20%, and they do have weekly sales where a certain color tag is 50%off. I thrift for me and my family, last year I found 5 Windsor style chairs for $5 each. Today I got 2.99 side table, only needed some cleaning, some glue and some screw tightening so it wouldn't wobble. Solid wood, in great vintage condition.

Good place some things for high price. But they do give military discount, senior discount, and the price tag color's mean different discounts yellow 10%, white 50% there's green and red that are 20%and 30% off. Soft back books are .10cents and hard back $1.00. So they do have some good deals just got to look. Mondays vets get 20% off the rest of the week is 10%. So it seems like it's better to have a senior citizen with you on all the other days. They do offer coupons text or email to you.
