Extremely disappointed with both Ashley Furniture and the Reguard protection plan. I purchased this sofa along with the extended protection because I believed it would protect me if something went wrong. Unfortunately, after only normal household use, the fabric started deteriorating, fraying, and looking worn far sooner than any quality furniture should. When I filed a claim, it was denied by simply pointing to exclusions in the warranty. What’s frustrating is that the very problems customers are most likely to experience with upholstered furniture seem to be excluded from coverage. It makes the protection plan feel misleading and nearly worthless. I spent extra money for peace of mind, only to discover that when I actually needed help, I was left with an expensive sofa that continues to deteriorate and no meaningful support. The customer service was polite, but the outcome was extremely disappointing. I expected much better quality from Ashley Furniture and much better protection from Reguard. I purchased an Ashley dining table in September 2022 and recently discovered what appears to be a factory assembly defect within the pedestal base. After disassembling the table and comparing both sides of the structure, it became clear that internal hardware components were installed differently, creating alignment and fastening issues that should not exist in a properly assembled product. I understand the table is outside the warranty period. However, spending nearly $1,000 on furniture, discovering what appears to be a manufacturing or assembly defect, and then being told I need to spend additional money to repair it myself is difficult to accept. The customer service experience was even worse. Representatives stopped communicating, failed to answer direct questions, and left long periods of silence on the call without explanation. At one point, I remained on the line for approximately 23 minutes before being transferred to what appeared to be an unrelated automated medical device phone system. Ashley also took the position that moving furniture voids warranty coverage. Furniture is expected to be moved during normal ownership, whether relocating homes or simply rearranging r

We had already scoured the town visiting at least 7 other stores before visiting Ashley. The other stores had a mixed bag of good and bad customer service, good and bad quality products and we just couldn't find what we wanted. We finally made it to Ashley and were greeted by Kabir who was super friendly and asked us what we were looking for. He walked us across the store and took us the the sofa set that was exactly what we were searching for. We signed the contract with great discounts and it was delivered days later. The delivery crew set up everything with ease and we were lounging in our couches shortly there after. We couldn't be happier!
