The food was pretty mediocre. The seasoning was lacking, and the lamb wrap had a strange sour taste that didn’t seem right. Overall, it felt like expensive version of Nick the Greek, but with worse flavor. I liked the dips, although they were a little too salty for my taste.

I really wanted to like this place. The food is pretty bad. There is literally no flavor. No flavor in salads are the chicken, the lamb any of the skewers. Fish was pretty tasteless. Try their pita and hummus and it’s pretty bad and tastes musty. Dessert was a joke. The two baklava pieces felt like they were old. I think it’s one of instagram only place. Salads are totally in authentic and the spices give more of a Mexican flavor than Mediterranean. Sad. They don’t even give you any sauces with your platter. Meat is dry.

A nice Greek restaurant in a Santa Clara business district. We tried the grilled lamb chops and grilled branzino. Both were quite tasty. The grilled eggplant appetizer was delicious as well. Service was friendly. Price is a bit high but not outrageous.

The chicken souvlaki wrap is really good. The dips are good too. The Combination is decent to me. Nice service.

Athena Grill was an outstanding experience from start to finish! I ordered the fish, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—beautifully seasoned, tender, and flavorful without being heavy. It has a relaxed Mediterranean vibe, making it a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy good food. The layout is comfortable, and it feels like a spot where you can enjoy both a casual lunch or a nice evening dinner. Service was another highlight—the staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great suggestions and checking in often without being intrusive. I also appreciated how quickly everything came out, yet it never felt rushed. Athena Grill is the kind of place that makes you want to come back and explore more of the menu.
