I would like to recognize Keidi, an outstanding agent in the Geek Squad department at the Best Buy store in Lakewood, CA, for her fast, efficient, and exceptional customer service. I recently brought my Android phone into Geek Squad because I was concerned that it had some type of virus. The Geek Squad department was very busy, and I waited while the other three customers were being assisted by agents. Keidi then asked if I had an appointment. I explained that I did not, and she kindly said, “Come on up since my appointment has not shown up yet.” Keidi immediately took the time to look at my phone and carefully went through the process of determining what was wrong. She discovered that the problem was actually caused by a QR code I had tried to download. She could have simply stopped there, but instead, she asked if I could leave the phone with her and said, “Let me look into it further.” That is exactly what she did. Keidi continued investigating the phone, found the virus, and also identified a couple of other suspicious applications. She explained what she had found, and we removed those applications. I had a very disappointing experience at Best Buy because of the customer service I received from the manager, Stacy. Instead of listening to my concerns and trying to help, she was dismissive and unprofessional. I expected a manager to handle the situation with respect and a willingness to find a solution, but that was not my experience. Good customer service is about treating customers with courtesy and taking the time to understand their concerns. Unfortunately, I left feeling ignored and frustrated. I hope Best Buy addresses this issue and provides better customer service training so future customers have a more positive experience.

I was quite enthusiastic that my Best Buy account informed me that I had over $100 in reward certificates. They were to expire in 2 days, so I went to the store and picked something out; an air conditioner that I really need in this SoCal heat. I added the 4 year protection plan to protect my investment, prepared to purchase with my Best Buy Credit card. Only at the last minute did I learn that the $100 was tied to a promotion related to a Samsung Soundbar and my purchase didn't qualify. Feels very "bait-and-switch". Making the experience worse, the QR code on my receipt does NOT take me to a customer satisfaction survey. I have also not received one in my email, leaving me to write this review on Google. Would I have rather expressed my frustration with the company directly, instead of publicly? Absolutely. Alas, they rightfully should know and if the survey isn't available, I guess Google is where this will land.

Walked in to Best Buy l, we had two TV options . Walked out happy and confident thanks to Jason and Donald. You need a team to explain technology and performance both are your guys. Both are patient, knowledgeable the most that caught my attention that they worked together as a team to help us THE CUSTOMER Best customer service, especially when you explain the Item, price, the breakdown and the service date. Thank you, Jason and Donald, I guarantee that you both have a bright future

Brought my work pc to get serviced. Was having issues with the battery randomly disconnecting from the terminals. Super nice receptionist took inventory of my PC. Minimal access passwords given to do the service and check operations. Found out the battery was faulty so it was replaced. Everything went well until I took it home started to use the PC. I slid the PC on my dining room table and a major scratch cut through the top layer of the table. Thought there was something under my PC. Nope! It was a screw that had been stripped, crooked, and petruding downward. Awesome. Yay for big box brands.
