Arrived a little early for the dinner menu but the server, Chase, made sure to accommodate us regardless. Thank you, Black Bear Diner and Chase, for our nice bear sized dinners. I understand why your customers keep coming back.P.S., Chase has real good memory of the returning customers and their past orders.

Stopped by Black Bear Diner and had a great experience. The food came out fresh, hot, and portions were huge. Service was friendly and attentive the entire time, and the atmosphere had that classic cozy diner feel. Definitely a good spot for breakfast or comfort food. I’ll definitely be coming back again. A few days ago I visited the Black Bear Diner, located in the City of Signal Hill. The original Black Bear Diner was established in 1995 in the town of Mt. Shasta, CA, close to the Oregon boarder. The founders Bruce Dean and Bob Manley opened a warm, cozy, spot in the forest for hungry travelers. They promised "big portions of quality food..." The Black Bear Diner at Signal Hill is no exception. Since you come in some wonderful wood carved figures welcome you to the restaurant, they have bears, pajamas with bears and delicious food. All accompanied with excellent service. I ordered the grilled salmon, with sautéed spinach and cherry tomatoes. With mash potatoes. It also came with a green salad. All for the price of $17.49. My husband had an omelet with avocado and some delicious pancakes. We were pleased with the food, price and service. We spent around $40.00. It really has a special atmosphere with the bears everywhere! Come you won't be disappointed!

Chase ,our server was attentive, polite and very professional. We've visited most of thd stores and have become regulars. We've purchased shirts and slippers. The breakfast is great and the salads, sandwiches and burgers are delicious. Stop by , I highly recommend Black Bear Diner

Good options for breakfast, and everything on their menu is available all day. The servers were attentive and made sure I was good with my meal every few minutes. The bigfoot chicken fried steak was good, but I personally felt it was a bit underseasoned. They do have salt and pepper on the table so you can adjust the taste to your liking.
