I can't recommend Courtney enough! She colored my hair 10 years ago before I moved to Boston, and when I came back for a visit, I knew I had to see her again. A decade later, she's still the one. Courtney truly has an eye for color. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, and my balayage exceeded my expectations: natural, dimensional, and exactly what I had envisioned. I've received so many compliments already! She always makes me feel beautiful, and I've never once been disappointed. What really sets Courtney apart is not only her talent, but how kind, professional, and welcoming she is. She genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work, and it shows in every detail. If you're looking for a colorist who is skilled, attentive, and delivers amazing results, Courtney is the one. I won't be waiting another decade to return!

Garrett is amazing!!! I went here to get my hair done before going back to college, and i had an amazing experience! My hair is the brightest most beautiful blonde it has ever been. On top of that, my hair feels so soft and healthy! I totally recommend Garrett!

I came into Blake Charles today feeling pretty disappointed after a hair color appointment at a different salon yesterday—it turned out much more auburn/red/orange than the warm chocolate highlights I had in mind. Thankfully, Evan completely turned things around! He worked absolute magic correcting the color and truly brought my vision to life. What I really appreciated was how he walked me through every step of the process, making me feel comfortable and confident the entire time. He even managed to fit in a blow dry, which was such a nice bonus. I left feeling like a whole new person! On top of that, Evan took the time to explain my options for maintaining the color going forward, which I found incredibly helpful. I’m excited to come back in the future—highly recommend!

I had the best experience getting my first balayage from Bianca! ✨ The salon itself is beautiful, so airy and luxurious, with teas and drinks that make the whole visit feel extra special. Since it was my first balayage, I gave Bianca full creative freedom and I’m so glad I did. It turned out amazing! The color blends so naturally with my hair, and I’ve gotten so many compliments. Bianca made me feel completely relaxed throughout the entire process, and she was such a pleasure to work with. I only wish I could recreate the way she styled my hair the curls she did were absolutely perfect. I look forward to seeing Bianca again! 💇‍♀️

I'm the 1000th review. This must be auspicious! What's really fortunate and such a blessing is finding Mod Mallak for highlights and overall color. A magician is an understatement. Mod spun my straw hair into GOLD. I have 18kt strands in my hair, and it's the healthiest it's been in the last 10 years. In every lighting, it's just perfect. Bring in photos and tell him what you want, and he will tell you what is better! I've never, in 20 years of coloring my hair, had a stylist make my hair look this beautiful. The salon is the coolest, too. Amber always takes excellent care of me at the front desk and is a lovely, professional person who helps me with my purchases and books my coveted appointments with Mod. What really shines, too, are the kind cleaning managers who always make sure everything is spotless. Love their attention to detail.  xo - Alisha
