Night Shift 1/11/2026 ~1:30AM I exchange pleasantries with the worker on the way in. After browsing the shelves ask them if they have Japanese whiskey (I can’t see it because he was storing his hat on the bottle, covering the label). After uncovering it, he also explained the cheaper whiskey was below (pointing to a bottle of shochu, which is also Japanese, but not the same). He then mentions they have sake (mispronouncing it) in the back, so I take a look. After thinking he’s a little uninformed about liquor, despite working in a liquor store, I decide to leave after not being impressed with the pricing. Dude follows me out of the store and yells at me accusing me of stealing while I’m in the middle of the crosswalk. I turn around and walk up to him to try to understand what he’s talking about and he’s already backpedaling. He’s saying it’s fine, but not explaining, nor apologizing, so after some prodding, he says he saw a bulge on my back and thought I stole a bottle. He didn’t ask me to thankfully, but I voluntarily unzipped my jacket and showed him crossbody bag to prove my innocence and quell his worries. I wish I would have gotten the guys name but whoever works the night shift on weekdays is SO NICE!! Went in to grab some small airplane shooters and he was so nice and efficient!! I dont live in LA but anytime I come back I know I will definitely come back to this store for any drinks we need! Very cute little spot I definitely recommend!!

I like a wine store that allows you to bring your own meal as you enjoy your beverage of choice. As a result, this location is one of my favorites because there are numerous eateries within walking distance. Great staff and even better customers, plus the workers here are some of the nicest.This is the place to go if you want to hang out with individuals who like wine and small conversation.

I have been living in the area all my life ,the mother and son duo . WILL OVER CHARGE YOU if they think your a tourist. No lie prices already high.only there because they have good area .Mother didn't recognize me bought $10 dollars charged my debit card $18 not posting this put of anger.just warning people.
