My wife and I drove from Ontario to visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels for the first time on her birthday. We parked at the Conrad and walked over, arriving around 5:45 p.m. Since the cathedral closes at 6:00 p.m., the security guard initially told us they were no longer letting visitors in. I explained that we had driven over an hour and only wanted a few minutes to step inside, say a prayer, and thank God for my wife’s birthday. Thankfully, they showed us kindness and allowed us in, and I’m truly grateful for that. The cathedral is absolutely beautiful. The architecture is stunning, and there’s such a peaceful atmosphere the moment you walk inside. One of my favorite parts was the chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe. It was a very special place to pray and reflect. I also loved the beautiful tapestries throughout the cathedral—they’re unlike anything I’ve seen before and add so much warmth and meaning to the space. Even though our visit was brief, it left a lasting impression. I look forward to coming back, this time with enough time to attend Mass and experience the cathedral more fully. We recently visited the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles, and I honestly don’t have enough words to capture how beautiful this place is. From the moment we walked in, there was such a deep sense of peace and reverence. The architecture is absolutely breathtaking—soaring ceilings, stunning stained glass, incredible artwork, and details everywhere you look. I was especially moved by the historic pieces throughout the cathedral, including the beautiful chapel, mosaics, and preserved altar. Even the courtyard and surrounding grounds felt serene and thoughtfully designed. Beyond its beauty, what made this experience so special was the feeling inside the cathedral. Despite being such a grand space, it felt incredibly warm, welcoming, and sacred. Whether you visit for Mass, prayer, or simply to admire the architecture, this is truly a place that leaves a lasting impression. Such a wonderful and memorable experience. I would absolutely recommend visiting if you’re ever in Los Angeles 💛

This is a beautiful church with a huge lot. It is super clean and modern. It's a handicap friendly facility w plenty of handicapped parking spots and pathways for wheelchairs. The parking structure is underground and pretty safe. There are also elevators if needed.

This place is amazing. Beautiful and marvelous. Check the underground and thank me later. You’ll be surprise on what you gonna see down there. Parking is free during mass hours. Check out the courtyard, fountain and the bell tower. Plenty of sitting space inside and out. There’s also a gift shop and cafe.

I attended the Sunday service here and truly enjoyed the singing and the sound of the organ. The people were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the service was beautiful. It felt really peaceful being there.

What am absolute perfect cathedral. I want to say the mass we attended was great. The prettiest even took the time to sign my child's mass attendance sheet. Very approachable father. I will say I'm happy I arrived early as the parking is difficult if you can find street parking nearby good for you I went into the maze of the underground parking and wow. Made it to mass just in the nick of time. They have a small chapel in the bottom and the gift shop and cafeteria were top tier. I also like the kids garden area. A great idea for the little ones.
