San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Jose follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I took swim lessons, within the 4 pack the instructor kept on changing and they cancelled one class(got a refund). Because of new instructor everytime there was no consistency in learning. The last instructor barely looked at me or talked to time the whole class. Also, there was literally no space to swim with all the kids around. If I have booked a private class, I atleast expect a lane where I can swim without bumping into group of kids.

Update today: hot tub is working but water level is only up to your waist when you're sitting in it. A guy in the sauna refused a request to turn down his phone while he was watching YouTube videos. And there was no hot water in the showers. Most lockers are broken or unopenable (all combination codes have been lost),treadmill and elliptical machines are frequently down, hand dryers are broken. My locker was broken into. My towel was stolen from the deck when I was in the pool. Hot tub has been out of commission for over a month. Shower water pressure is negligible and not working at all on several occasions. The indoor pool is frequently closed for maintenance. The outdoor pool was out of commission for two weeks then another week for resurfacing the pool deck. The wrong surfacing material was used so that has to be redone. The app is even wonkier than the layout, a situation others have mentioned. I just entered "hot tub" in the search feature and the only result was for some other Y. "Nobody else has complained" is the staff mantra. Photos here are of chronic conditions. They were taken today.

This great YMCA offers classes and lessons for all ages. My grandson takes swim lessons here with an emphasis on skill mastery while having fun. Adults group classes are awesome. The workout equipment is good both in the indoor gym and on outdoor covered area by the pool Indoor pool and outdoor pool offer class time, lap swim and adult swim. The oools and hot tub have a mobility lift. Currently they are undergoing upgrading with new room signage, Roofing, and pool upgrades while maintaining daily operations. The venue is accessible with accessible entry and accessible venue to pools, workout rooms and much equipment. Free van accessible parking in private lot.

The energy is so cool to where it is impossible not to find a work out spot at the Y, I also love to see the youth without so many tattoos on their skin I see normal kids that are having fun through,Basketball & weights, what a blessing how the Y is having the young kids smiling & happy along with their parents. I am a parent myself to see other parents caring for their children that fire to me in God's name on hand parenting .I get all my work out in each time, I go to the Y as well from the positive energy. Please keep up this energy from the adults to the kids.God Bless
