Mango lassi was made with syrup but it was very thick Lam karma was good, but the chicken tikka masala was a little dry. Garlic naan was not real naan, it was more like flatbread but very garlicky.

Amazing food and a very well done theme inside the restaurant! The Tiki Masala had the perfect level of spice & flavor. We also ordered the Tandoori chicken pizza, which was really good and unique. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall an excellent experience here!

Here’s a polished version with the same vibe: Absolutely loved this Indian gem tucked right in the heart of downtown! I went with a couple of girlfriends to celebrate my birthday on a spontaneous Saturday afternoon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Food — absolutely scrumptious Service — excellent Ambiance — chic and inviting A perfect little celebration spot!

My boyfriend and I stopped by Chak de California on a whim and we’re so glad we did! The restaurant is decorated so beautifully and our server, Shubh, was absolutely the best. He was super friendly and happy to give us recommendations and answer any questions we had (my boyfriend has a dairy allergy). We really liked the samosas (with the green sauce!), the chicken tikka masala (so creamy and they get the sauce and chicken ratio just right), and the garlic naan. We liked it so much, we actually came back the following week. Highly recommend supporting this local business!

Moved location but delicious as usual! Chai was flavorful and breakfast masala scramble was so good! Potatoes were fried to perfection 😍 Not pictured- also ordered garlic naan and lamb palak and they were also super yummy! Friendly staff and beautiful dining environment. Comfy and relaxing booth with gorgeous lighting. Must come by if visiting Pasadena!
