I’ve been to this theater three times since they reopened. Disappointed because the last owners never really kept the bathrooms clean and these new owners are doing the same thing. The toilet bowls need to be scrubbed and the sanitary trash bins need to be cleaned, they smell. The counters should be wiped down as well. One of the three times I was there since they reopened, 2 of the stalls had no toilet paper and another time there was no soap in the bathroom. I had to request it. There’s a lot of young people working at this place instead of sitting around or today at the concession stand they were putting on their make up. They need to keep the place clean. The popcorn was cold one day and the nacho cheese was definitely cold. Starting to wonder with the cleanliness of the establishment, if I should even be ordering food that’s nots sealed. I tried calling the contact number on the website but it just goes to voicemail. Recent visit was today 7/11/2026.

Came here on a Tuesday for the 7:30 PM movie and had a great experience overall. Parking was super easy, which is always a plus. One thing to note: the previews only lasted about 5–8 minutes, so definitely don’t show up late expecting a long preview period. The prices here are awesome. I believe it was around $3.75 for a small popcorn and $4.75 for a medium, and they’ll even add butter for you. Hard to beat theater prices like that these days. The theater itself was very clean, and there were only three other people there for our movie, so it was quiet, peaceful, and really relaxing. The seats don’t recline, which was a little bit of a bummer, but the retro vibe of the place made up for it. Overall, the service was incredible, the prices are unbeatable, and it’s a fun old-school movie theater experience.

A well maintained art deco theatre. Very clean. I read the history that it’s built in 1947 and had major renovation in 2011. Some of the seatings needed to be replaced, they were sinking. I think if they open the door all day long with a coffee shop or cafe or ice cream shop inside and put an eye catching sign on the outside would attract more crowds. And how about a comedy show here?! ☺️just throwing some ideas …

The Village Theatre is not just a cinema. It’s a reminder of when moviegoing felt like an event. The murals on the walls tell a story before the lights even dim. The marquee outside glows like a promise. Inside, you’re handed a paper ticket. Yes, paper. It feels right. The popcorn is five bucks. The soda is cold and classic. The candy is the kind you used to beg your parents for, and the prices won’t leave you feeling like you got played. They’re showing new releases, but the experience is vintage in the best possible way. It’s a place built on memories and still creating new ones every night. Five stars. Because sometimes the best way forward is to look back
