This has been my family’s pharmacy for the last two years. We have held on as long as we can due to the convenience of the location. Now, two of our separate doctor’s offices have told us to find a new pharmacy. The issue is not friendliness of staff, availability or hours. It’s communication with medical offices. On 5 occasions, doctor offices have requested refills that they claim they never received. When you try to get them to contact the doctor offices they say they can’t. One doctor literally said “every time we are in touch with this pharmacy it’s a fight.” It’s caused so much mix up we just can’t do it anymore and will be going to a neighborhood independent pharmacy or Walgreens.

CVS Pharmacy on E. Plaza Blvd, in National City, CA is a great, clean store. Everyone is very professional and always willing to help. My ONLY complaint or comment is about the NEW Computers, recently installed at the pharmacy counters. In my opinion, management didn't totally think this through, Most elderly people are not, computer literate, which means, those computers are time consuming.

The vents are black with filth. The end caps by the pharmacy are empty and contain half eaten items, like a candy bar. The place is run down a dirty. The staff are nice. But, often my medication is not available at the pharmacy. I had to change where I get my medication because of this issue. If they do not have it, they will not have it sent to their location. You will just go without, unless you can get to a location with your med. The good news is that they are 24 hours, so if they have your med it is great.

CVS pharmacy service is great! I enjoy coming here because the time to pick up prescriptions are convenient and fast. The Pharmacy Technicians always greet the customer / patient with a smile and friendly attitude. I appreciate the service and express thanks to all of you who show pride and professionalism during my visits!

🚨🛑🚨 Attention Store Manager & District and Regional Managers. Clean the air ducts in the pharmacy! The pharmacist and Technicians are exposed to MOLD & DIRT coming out of the air ducts! This can be seen from the drive thru as well as standing in line to get your prescription. 😫 They are preparing our prescriptions that means our medication could potentially be exposed to this bacteria as well. 🧫🦠 Imagine the pharmacist and Techs who have allergies?! CLEAN the A/C vents and ducts. 🚨🛑🚨
