Annie provided exceptional customer service when our family was looking to purchase a specific urn for a loved one. It took about a week from order to delivery for our customized urn to show up which is great given the time sensitivity of the matter. Annie walked us through the whole process and went above and beyond to draw up templates with various fonts and designs so that we can preview the final product. Awesome work, highly recommend!

My experience at Darling Fischer Chapel of the Hills was excellent. They were caring, helpful and efficient in all interactions. I am greatly appreciative of their support in coordinating with another out of state funeral home to support the care, transportation and burial of my loved one out of state.

The staff are nice, they set out all of our decorations beautifully, but they forgot to play my Mother’s slideshow. I was told not to worry about a thing and that everything would be taken care of for us at the service. I took my flash drive and we tested it beforehand as requested and they never played it. I spent hours collecting pictures and scanning them and of course I wasn’t thinking clearly during the viewing with all my grief. By the time I realized it and they played it everyone was walking up to view her and then walked out. I’m so disappointed. They also never played my Spotify playlist and I had to ask them to do that and that was also at the end. I also spent hours collecting her favorite songs. I was told they would save all the cards from all the arrangements that were delivered and not to worry about them. I went to pick up my stuff yesterday and there were no cards. They tried to look for them and didn’t find them Now I don’t know who to thank for all the flowers. I’m so disappointed about all these things. I don’t know if I would feel comfortable using them again or recommend them for that matter. These are all such important factors in a loved one’s tribute and I

The team at Darling & Fischer were wonderfully compassionate, professional, and patient from our very first contact after our mother passed away. Maribel guided us thoughtfully through the process and the available options, ensuring everything was in place for our mom’s burial. We also deeply appreciated the kindness and respect shown by the young man who came to pick up our mom and bring her to the mortuary; his calm, gentle manner meant a great deal to our family in that moment. Sandra and Lisa handled the transportation from Los Gatos to Grass Valley with great care and managed the funeral service beautifully. We are grateful to have been in their hands.
