Came in on a Saturday around 4pm and was immediately greeted with great service. The staff was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. After checking my car, they carefully took measurements and helped me realize that replacing all 4 tires instead of just 2 was the better and safer option. They even have a system that compares different tire types and features, which made it really easy to choose the best option. My car was taken in right away and everything was done in about 90 minutes — super fast and efficient. Overall, excellent experience. Friendly team, honest advice, and quick service. Highly recommend!

I have purchased all of my tires at Discount Tire on Midway Dr. since I moved to Point Loma 35 years ago. Today I brought my car in for a tire rotation. I had an 11am appt. When I arrived they initially could not find the appt. For some reason my car was listed under another person’s name. After this was straightened out, they told me it would take 50 minutes to complete the rotation. I asked the staff member, who was helping me, to make certain to correct the tires’ air pressure since I knew they were all a bit low. I went for a walk and returned 46 minutes later. They hadn’t yet moved my car from where I parked it in their lot. So much for having an appt. When I asked how much longer it would take, my car was rushed in and the tires were rotated in under 15 minutes. I was watching the process. I observed that the air pressure was never adjusted. I asked them to do so and they complied. Immediately after leaving the Discount Tire parking area, I stopped to check the air pressure. Two of my four tires were over inflated by 4 pounds of air pressure. I adjusted the air pressure. I also noted that oil was smeared on two of my four wheels. Worst service i have ever received in my life. Ive gone to plenty of Discount Tires around San Diego and this location was by far the worst service. Actually, there wasnt any service because I was completely IGNORED. Everyone just kept their head down and didn't even acknowledge my presence. I waited for a good ten minutes before I left. The person behind me also left
