Right on the beach, clean bathrooms, power and water. Safe. Those are the good things. But it is just a fancy parking lot. Spaces are small. No place for kids to play near their unit so they are running in and out of the driving lanes. Lots of yelling and screaming. The biggest thing is the noise from the airport LAX is much closer than I anticipated. Flights overhead every 10 min or so.

A campground right down the beach! Beautiful view of the ocean! Security is excellent! Full hookups make it easy to stay for a few days. It's only a half an hour from downtown.

They told me I dont have to make a reservation because they are mostly half empty. I didn’t make reservation as I didn’t know what day I will arrive. I drove all the way from phoenix to be turned back saying that park is full. Which it wasn’t , they just didnt like my RV for whatever reason. My RV is perfectly fine, maybe little older but not like some sort of junk. They would try to come up with reasons saying things like system wouldn’t allow them and stuff like that. I came with wife and kids and didnt know where to go then. Ruined my trip and made me really upset. I hope people would understand my frustration. There were many open spots. I spent hours after looking for place to park. Stuff is just unprofessional and didnt care. Im writing this review 10 days later after I cooled my head. I read later that this is typical, they profile people which in my opinion is very discriminating. Its sad that they are allowed to treat people in such way.

We stayed at Dockweiler RV Park this week and had a great experience overall. The location truly can’t be beat. You’re right on the beach with incredible ocean views and sunsets, and it’s just minutes from El Segundo where there are tons of great shops and places to eat. Everything you need is close by, which made our stay easy and convenient. One thing to be aware of is the constant sound of planes taking off and landing from LAX. It happens all day and through the night. If you’re sensitive to noise, that’s something to consider. For us, once we got used to it, it became part of the experience. The beachfront setting, easy access, and proximity to restaurants and stores made it a memorable stay. We would definitely come back, especially for the unbeatable oceanfront location.
