Welcoming & wonderful family owned store! Exceptional customer service whether it be in the morning noon or night. Very clean and well stocked store. You can even pick up orders via platforms as well. Courteous employees and prices are a bargain... Don't see an item your looking for just ask... You may be surprised!

The staff were very polite and helpful, and the store had a great variety of products. I found everything I needed and ended up buying so much that I could barely carry it all. A very pleasant shopping experience!

I've been to a lot of grocery stores, but Downtown Grocery Market is by far my favorite in the Tenderloin. The owners are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They always treat everyone with kindness and respect, and they genuinely care about their customers. The store is clean, organized, and has almost everything I need. What impresses me the most is that if they don't have an item, they don't just say "no." They actually try to get it for you, and many times they can even order it the same day. That's amazing customer service. Shopping here always feels comfortable, and I appreciate how much effort they put into keeping the store well stocked and welcoming. I'm grateful to have a neighborhood grocery store like this, and I highly recommend Downtown Grocery Market to anyone looking for great service and quality groceries. This is the best place to get a sour jolly rancher slushie.. great place to get something to snack on or drink. The team of people working there seen to vibe with a great attitude and sense of belonging to all the locals. I love this store, great selection of ice cream flavors and take EBT. The restaurant next to it is delich as well

The way he cares about people, remembers faces, and makes everyone feel welcome is something you just don’t see anymore. And his two kids? Just like their father—kind, genuine, and always ready to help with a smile. Let’s talk about prices—because honestly, they’re unbeatable. Every single item is priced better than what you’ll find at other stores. Period. You walk out feeling like you got more than your money’s worth every time. The store itself is spotless, organized, and always stocked with the latest trending items. They somehow manage to have everything you didn’t even know you needed.
