It was ok. Just that some professors would give attitudes for no reason at all.

It has everything in small size school, the science labs are at main campus , A new campus is coming soon in the near future across street . Shuttles to main campus , parking at cost and people to help. Si Se Puede !

The worst staff I have ever had to deal with thay transfer you from person to person then hang up on you my son took a college class to make up credits for high school . So he could graduate on time . Well the college counselor said that teacher left so it's my son's misfortune. Wow. Very unprofessional office staff thay can't give him credit for the class what a wast of time

Small little college, you can’t get lost. There’s awesome professors here, just go to class and do your work and you should pass. I recommend going to the financial aid early when they open if you want to get a more helpful staff to help you with any questions or problems you may be having. There’s even a free shuttle bus that takes you to the main campus

I've visited this campus a couple of times while I was a student in high school. It's a relatively small college adjacent to the historic Firestone Plant and a Carl's Jr. One of the unique features that this school has is transportation. Since it's on Firestone Blvd, many students have accessibility via Metro Blue Line and the local 115 bus. Perhaps most importantly, this school has the ELAC shuttle, and it's a total advantage for students due to ridership via Monterey Park's main campus. It's free to use and I believe they operate on Mondays-Thursdays. This makes personal cars unnecessary and saves a great deal of time and money. It shouldn't be a surprise then, locals ulitlize this to their advantage and many current high school graduates, nearby, attend here. On the contrary, if I've known this if I were younger, I would've been a continuing student. However, I'm glad I didn't attend, due to many familiar faces! With that exception, it's not a horrible community college nor is it "ghetto." It's great!
