Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

An unbelievable experience for my mother’s birthday tonight. We had one of the best tomahawks I’ve ever had and basically every item we ordered was incredible. But Zack was the best part of the night and completely went out of his way to spoil her and make her night perfect. 10/10 recommend!

Never thought I would say this but try the fried olives! Surprisingly good. I had a quick bit before heading to old town. The service is excellent and what a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Don't forget the oysters, I want more of those. Can't wait to try the dinner here next time.

Stayed at Kimpton and ate breakfast here for convenience. Regret my decision. The food was bad. I was one of four customers in restaurant. Ordered eggs. You can see the kitchen and people looked busy but my plate took a long time to arrive - glacial. What appeared was barely cooked bacon, overtly greasy (unappetizing) potato mixture and lukewarm eggs. Asked for a fruit plate expecting cantaloupe , honey dew but got berries and a banana cut up to make plate look full. I left hungry. Choose elsewhere for breakfast.

First time eating dinner here. We were a party of four. The service was amazing. The food was good, not great. If I could offer some advice the chips aren’t needed. I had a steak called the zebuton, never heard of this cut. I decided to try it and it was good, it had some tough parts to chew. The salad was delicious and the samosas in the shape of egg rolls were also very good. I will definitely give it another try.

After trying to find a good Steakhouse to celebrate a new job we settled on going to Echo and rig especially since I love their Las Vegas location and the steaks are amazing. Upon entering the restaurant on a Tuesday evening they asked if I had a reservation and because I did not it would be a wait even though the restaurant was mostly empty. We sat in the bar area and ordered drinks to wait on a table. During that time I quickly got on the app and made a reservation for the restaurant. I informed the serving staff and they came to seat me in 15 minutes after I closed up my tab at the bar. We were seated in the back and then it took an additional 15 to 20 minutes for our server to arrive. Overall me and my daughter were quite frustrated because we had been sitting for almost an hour without food or service at a restaurant that comes highly recommended. I brought my frustrations up with the waiter who quickly tried to change the atmosphere by allowing us to order quickly. Our waiter made sure that the salad was great and the rest of our drinks were done appropriately. I ordered a ribeye cooked to medium how well it came out well done. My daughter appreciated that her Burger was well
