Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Alejandro is completely incompetent and should lose his job. I spent probably two hours in back and forth with the staff trying to get two appointments right, which the seem completely incapable of handling. At first, they confirmed our appointment. They then called and said they needed to do a different appointment type. Then they emailed, but confirming the wrong treatments. They also then emailed appointments for a different day that I did not even book. Several emails and texts later they did not have it right. This is easily the worst "spa" experience I've ever had.

This gym thinks it’s four stars but it’s really three stars at best. The facilities are melting, it floods and leaks every time it rains. The men’s locker room is always dirty. The floors never seem clean enough to walk on. The men’s urinals are always filthy, I need to dodge urine on the floor which has obviously been there for hours. There was garbage, plastic straws and a floss pic under the heater in the sauna. It never actually feels clean. And then today I went in at lunch time and every single fridge for cold towels was empty. There’s four of them and they were all empty. And the front desk guy was like “yeah it’s been a few hours since they filled them.” They didn’t refilled them for at least 20 minutes after I asked. This to me says that the management is sub par. Two stars at best. All the fridges should never be empty, not if the place was being run properly.

Do you like people pointing phones at you while you are nude? Me neither! And yet, this club frequently allowed it today. Within less than just 30 minutes of being in the locker room, I counted seven people bringing in cell phones into either the steam room, the sauna, the tub, or all three. I repeatedly contacted managers, and they did not respond promptly. At one point, I waited over ten minutes; I was informed that they were in a meeting and nobody could be bothered to enforce privacy rules. As a repeated rape survivor, I shouldn’t have to tolerate a gym not enforcing its own rules. I shouldn’t have to worry that I’ll be victimized again. I shouldn’t have to hear a bunch of excuses for why they won’t do a better job.

I hadn’t visited Equinox Sports Club Los Angeles for quite some time, as I had been going to another location. But when I came back, I immediately felt the difference — the comfort, the уют (coziness), the cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere are truly on another level. The staff here are very welcoming and professional. I especially want to highlight Nahalia, the pool sports monitor (EQX SCLA). Her attitude, attention, and friendliness really stand out and make the experience even better. This is not just a gym — it’s a whole fitness world. You have everything you need in one place. Personally, I would love to dedicate one full day a week just to myself here — for example, a Sunday. You can train, box on the rooftop, enjoy different workouts, and fully reset. The sauna is excellent — recently renovated with new wooden panels. You can immediately feel that it’s properly built because it’s easy to breathe inside, which is very important. As for parking — yes, it’s paid, but I honestly don’t see any issue with that. Paying a few dollars for secure, protected parking is completely reasonable. I highly recommend this club — you will definitely be satisfied. Stay healthy and mak

I have been a member of this location on and off for close to 15 years and the downfall of this gym has reached new levels recently. I was not that surprised when I saw them with a 3.2 rating as of today’s post. That rating still feels high for what you get here. I pay $5600 a year for their executive membership. With that I receive extremely dirty locker rooms, broken gym equipment, towels not available 30% of the time with extended wait times for them to be replenished and broken amenities like the coffee machine. A user below me documented all this very well with about 19 images in addition to the ones I am posting below. It takes a lot for me to complain to management (which I did and nothing changed / no follow up) and even more for me to write a negative review but this is 100% warranted. It’s interesting because anytime I pass by these managers I constantly see them in their office on their cell phones. If they spent 5% of their efforts trying to fix this place instead of trying to constantly suffocate me with referring new members for their constant “sale”, this place would maybe pass for a premium gym. Don’t expect anything more than LA fitness here Do better equinox
