This is already my second extension to my initial system installed by a different company about 10 years ago. I bought an Hybrid plugin and realized immediately that i needed a few more panels. I called Nick and he send a team out to check my system and made me a very attractive offer for the extension. However the biggest problem was sourcing some parts that would be compatible with my older Inverter and system. Due to the tariff problem sourcing from China was taking time. But they didn’t drop me and finally last week they installed the extension. After installation a new version of the inverter software the system works perfect and the new panels producing the additional power i was looking and hoping for. I believe most others would have given up on this job! Great job to the Forme team!!!

At this point, I'd steer people away from Forme (now apparently named NetZero), especially if you're considering a battery with your solar. One of the most important things to me when choosing an installer was their ability to monitor my system and proactively reach out if they saw a problem. I had the unfortunate experience of installing solar at a prior home, and having the installer and manufacturer go out of business. Forme sold me on the fact that they'd be able to monitor my system remotely and proactively reach out to me or Enphase to handle problems; they even showed me an example of the interface they use. If they are actually using this monitoring system, I've never seen evidence of it. I've had Enphase reach out directly a number of times, but not Forme. Most recently, my entire system stopped working properly. Because I've had so many issues with my equipment reporting, I wasn't able to discern that the system itself wasn't working properly. Forme never reached out, and because our system wasn't working, we ended up with around $1,000 of electricity bills we wouldn't have otherwise generated. I had a great experience with Forme Solar from start to finish. The team was responsive, showed up when they said they would, and took the time to explain our options. The installation team was professional and clean, and they handled permits and inspection smoothly. For a 9.2kW solar system and a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery and inverter. It is refreshing to work with a solar company. That clearly knows what they’re doing and stands behind the quality of their work.

We had such a great experience that we tell everyone to get their solar from Forme Solar! They know their stuff. We got an 8.4 solar system installed, and that wasn't even the special part. We also got two Enphase 5P batteries that act as a microgrid. So the system will run even without being reliant on Edison's help. Installation and getting all of the approvals were smooth and painless. We worked with Nick and Terry, and they were great advisors and answered any questions or concerns we had with the process. Going solar was necessary for us because of our large electricity bills. We did our part, spoke to neighbors and friends. Got a few quotes. Even interviewed a few people in our home. In the end we found that Forme Solar provided the best service. They did a fantastic job installing solar panels to even the after service with inspections. Innovative for a local company. One of the technicians had a drone and was cool enough to share a few shots. City inspector got a kick out of it too. Thank you FORME SOLAR for doing a wonderful job.
