I had a disappointing experience with Adelina’s Spanish tutoring services. A friend and I signed up together for a package of 10 informal private Spanish classes and paid upfront. However, we were never provided with any written agreement, invoice, or clearly explained policies regarding scheduling, cancellations, make-up classes, refunds, or how absences would affect the package. Throughout the course, scheduling was often inconsistent, and classes were occasionally rescheduled due to availability conflicts on different sides. After completing 7 of my 10 classes, I had to temporarily leave town because of a family emergency. Since classes had previously been adjusted or made up individually when scheduling conflicts occurred, I believed I would simply resume my remaining 3 classes once I returned. However, after multiple attempts to contact Adelina following my return, I was informed that the remaining classes had already been considered used because my friend had continued attending lessons during my absence. I was told I would need to pay additional money for private sessions if I wanted to continue, and no refund or credit was offered for the unused classes I had prepaid fo

I have very much enjoyed being one of Adelina's students. If you're looking for a Spanish teacher who can inspire and guide you through your language learning journey, look no further. Adelina is a patient and friendly person which combines perfectly with her expertise and warm demeanor. The classes are one on one so each class is unique and personalized to each student. She takes the time to understand individual learning styles and tailors her teachings accordingly so you feel supported and encouraged whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner. The classes truly are a delight and I highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning Spanish.

Adelina is an excellent Spanish teacher. She is able to quickly identify your level and be able to cater the curriculum to your needs. What I like best is that she explains the logic behind the language and how things are constructed. She is excellent at teaching the grammatical patterns that allow me to read and understand the language better, even if I encounter words I have not memorized yet. In 3 lessons, I have made more progress than I did after spending 2 years doing Duolingo.

I have had the incredible opportunity to learn Spanish with Adelina as my teacher, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the experience. From the moment I started, knowing absolutely no Spanish, to where I am now, having covered most of the grammar and syntax in just six months, Adelina's teaching has been nothing short of exceptional. Her patience and encouraging demeanor have made every lesson enjoyable and comfortable. Even when I stumbled through challenging concepts, she never made me feel discouraged. Instead, she would take the time to break down complex ideas into simple, understandable terms, making learning the language much more approachable. One aspect that stands out about Adelina is her ability to create remarkably strong lesson plans. Each class felt well-structured, engaging, and tailored to meet the specific needs of her students. She managed to strike a perfect balance between grammar, conversation, and cultural insights, making the entire learning process comprehensive and enjoyable. Moreover, Adelina's flexibility with both Zoom and in-person classes has been incredibly convenient, especially for those with busy travel schedules. Whether it was online or

Adelina takes great care with her students, personalizing lesson planning in advance to meet the level of ability and interests of students. So classes are very well tailored to my needs. My Spanish is rudimentary and needs a lot of basic guidance and Adelina is patient and provides that support. I understand she also has students who are more proficient in Spanish and they can have much more intellectual discussions and advancement in their conversational and written Spanish. I also appreciate that Adelina can teach 2-3 people together, if you have friends/colleagues who wish to learn together, and you are not required to have individual lessons.
