I have been a member for many years. The club was recently purchased by The Bay club so hoping the improvements continue. After years, finally got new cardio equipment. There are 2 pools here - one for kids and the other adults only. There are tennis courts and 4 pickleball courts. The food has improved over the years but there are still plenty of screw-ups. There are a myriad of different exercises classes you can take all taught by professionals. They were allowing filming at the club - making some features unusable by members which was NOT what the expensive membership should allow. They would state the funds would go towards the club but no-one knows if that was true. If you love tennis, you'll probably like it. They seem to raise membership and the food and beverage minimum every year.

This place is awesome—but here’s the real hack: if you want the perks of a private club without dropping a fortune, sign your kids up for swim lessons as a non-member. You’ll pay a little more than members, but twice a week your whole family can hang by the pools before and after class—and use the gym, showers, sauna, all of it. Once you’re in, no one checks whether you’re a member or not. Way better than coughing up an $18K initiation fee. Bring your credit card and you can grab drinks at the bar or order food from the restaurants without any issues. I did knock off one star, though—the food is pricey and the quality is inconsistent, plus there’s a mandatory 20% service fee even when the service is… hit or miss. Swim lesson availability has been surprisingly easy. My friends and I had no trouble signing up year-round, except during summer—which you honestly want to avoid anyway because I was told it’s hot and crowded. Winter is also the sweet spot: the pool is practically empty, your kid ends up getting near-private lessons while paying group-lesson prices, and you can swim as much as you want. This place was awesome. Although I was just a visitor... if I lived in LA I would make it my home. The staff was amazing and efficient and the food was nice. Just a great environment
