I’ve rented vehicles several times. 6 times within the year and Wendy has assisted me each time! She eases my travel anxiety with her bright, upbeat and positive communication. I truly value the service provided and will continue renting with Hertz in Fresno Ca FYI/FAT

Had a reservation for over a month for a small compact car due to cost of fuel in CA. Got to Fresno…had no cars…only option was a Ram Bighorn (the biggest of the gas guzzlers). With no other option I took it. Sucked gas like no other. Harkened back to the Seinfeld episode - “you can take the reservation, you just can’t hold the reservation, which is the most important part”. This is based on one rental at this location but if asked (which you did by sending me this email) I do not recommend using Hertz at KFAT.

Dear Hertz Management Team, I am writing to document my rental experience for informational purposes only related to my vehicle pickup experience at the Fresno Airport Hertz location on May 1, 2026. For background, I live nearly an hour from Fresno Airport and travel frequently for business. I routinely complete one way rentals between Fresno Airport and Hanford, CA, as well as Hanford to Fresno Airport. This has been my standard rental pattern for several years. Reservation and Pickup Experience Upon arriving at the Fresno Airport Hertz counter after returning from a business trip, I was informed that although my reservation existed, my credit card was not on file. This was the second consecutive rental at this location where I experienced this issue. This interaction was very different from recent rentals at other Hertz locations, including Hanford, CA and Jacksonville, FL Airport, where I presented my driver’s license and received the vehicle promptly with no delays or payment method issues. Rental Charges Observed For this rental, the final charge did not match the reservation amount, reflecting an increase of nearly $600, not including a $200 “inner city” one way rental fe

Extremely disappointed with the service from both Hertz and their roadside assistance today. Our Thrifty rental car was not fit for driving, so we contacted roadside assistance (handled by Hertz). They told us to go to the Hertz desk for help. When we arrived, the staff member at the desk flat-out refused to assist us — even with roadside assistance on the phone confirming we were supposed to be there. He was dismissive, rude, and made no effort to help. We were left completely stranded and had to return to Thrifty ourselves to figure out what to do. In the end, we were told there were no other options available, which forced us to keep the same unsafe car. To make matters worse, while we were still waiting, the Hertz employee simply walked outside and drove off in a white Mustang. The lack of professionalism and support was unacceptable. This all happened today between roughly 16:00 and 16:30.

Last minute booking since the Visalia location only had electric and was more money and they were closing as well. Friendly employee s. I think Brenda was her name? She went above and beyond the duties she was given. Also had so much patience for me and all my inquiries. Appreciate you Easy no hassle returns also!
