Over a year of mechanical problems, unanswered emails, and a denied bond claim I purchased a 2020 Land Rover Discovery HSE Luxury from LA City Cars in June 2025. Within 24 hours of driving off the lot, the check engine light came on. I have the text messages to prove it. I brought the vehicle back to their service department twice. Both times they replaced parts — ignition coils, spark plugs — and both times the same misfire condition returned. An independent mechanic I hired in early 2026 found 7 active engine fault codes, including a code indicating catalytic converter damage caused by the ongoing, unresolved misfire. I sent written emails to floor management in July and August 2025 documenting that the check engine light had been on since day one and requesting resolution. Neither email received a response. I filed a complaint with the California DMV Investigations Division, which is currently active. I also filed a bond claim with Merchants Bonding Company, the surety on LA City Cars' dealer bond. After a full investigation, Merchants confirmed in writing that the dealer sold the vehicle "AS IS — No Dealer Warranty" — information I was not clearly made aware of at the point

Amir was a wonderful young gentleman and incredibly helpful. He helped me find my dream car! When I initially walked in, Amir spotted me from across the room and could tell I was a bit nervous (because I was). He kindly walked up to me and asked if I needed any help. I said yes and that I was looking for a new vehicle. With a big smile he said, "Well then you came to the right place, LA City Cars, located in Inglewood." I replied, "Well, I guess you guys do sell cars, don't you." We spent the rest of the day together testing cars and chatting about the Indianapolis Colts. He told me his brother was a Falcons fan and he wanted to pick a completely different team to support, so he decided on the Colts. I thought that was strange, but it didn't bother me nonetheless. After we finally stumbled upon a gorgeous Dodge Challenger, supercharged, high-speed monster with the Scat Pack, I hesitated and decided that wasn't the vehicle for me. So I went with a 2016 Toyota Camry, which my wife was pleased with. I would recommend LA City Cars to anyone in search of a new vehicle. Just ask for Amir, and don't bring up the Colts.

I can’t say enough good things about LA City Cars! After being turned down by several other dealerships, I was starting to lose hope of finding a reliable car for my family. Then I came here — and they made it happen! I ended up driving away in a beautiful Nissan Pathfinder that fits my family perfectly. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond. Natasha and Chi were absolutely amazing and patient, honest, and super helpful throughout the entire process. They worked so hard to get me approved, and they treated me with genuine respect, not just like another customer. This is literally the best dealership in the world !!!! Natasha handled us like true VIP and the team there didn’t disappoint in any way shape or form! No need to leave the comfort of your home just put ur feet up and they will literally do the rest and the best! I have been buying and selling cars for over 20 years never experience such superior experience!!! I thought I provided the Rasta Mon style.
