I am a PCT Hiker just finishing a 14 mile day. It was hot and I exhausted. The staff let me sit in a nice cool room next door to the store and cool down. They went out of their way to show me where the bathrooms were and one staff member even gave me his employee discount when I was buying a bag of chips. All of this before I even agreed to stay for the evening! They made me feel welcome and I was grateful. Five stars.

This place was amazing! The customer service was so great, and everyone was so sweet and welcoming to us as PCT hikers. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Marilyn was so friendly in pointing out the hiker box, and Matthew had such great energy and made the vibe so fun. Louis was also so helpful. Overall, I highly recommend stopping here as a hiker!

After hiking about 38 km (around 24 miles) on the PCT and not having washed for days, you honestly don’t care what a campground looks like anymore. What matters is how you’re treated—and that’s where this place really delivers. I was warmly welcomed, given towels and soap, and finally enjoyed a proper hot shower in a clean bathroom. The Wi-Fi works perfectly, and I didn’t run into any issues during my stay. Yes, the place looks a bit dated, and the pool is currently empty—but there’s probably a reason for that. Negative reviews and heavy reliance on Google ratings don’t always tell the full story. A bit more positivity could really help this campground get back on its feet. For me, after a long and exhausting day in the mountains, this place had everything I needed. I felt taken care of—and that’s why it’s an easy five stars from me.

I used to come here about one week out of every month through Thousand Trails. I had taken a break for a while because, honestly, the park had gone downhill back then there were issues with people hanging around and some uncomfortable experiences at the front office. But I decided to give it another shot in 2024, and at first, I was really glad I did. Check-in was always smooth, and the front desk staff made a huge difference. Ashton or Charlotte made everything easy they would even pre-book my spot, which you just don’t see often. What a difference from Thousand Trails. It felt like the staff genuinely cared, and that kept me coming back. I even found myself stopping by occasionally just to grab a soda on my way home from work because I liked the place that much. Over time, I started coming regularly again and even upgraded to a pull-through site. It cost a bit more, but I didn’t mind because the service and atmosphere made it worth it. Unfortunately, around December, things started to change. The park wasn’t being maintained the same way there was trash around the grounds and even on the sites. I’d mention it, and I did see Ashton and maintenance guy Alias trying to keep up, but
