I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst nail salon experiences I’ve had. First, the quality of the manicure was extremely poor. While my nails were still being done, the gel polish on my thumb was already wrinkling. They tried to fix it at the time, but only THREE DAYS later, a large piece of the polish was already missing. Please see the attached photo. The color application was also very uneven. A professional gel manicure should not look like this or start falling apart after only three days. The customer service was also very disappointing. I completely understand that some people may be new to the U.S. and there can be a language barrier, and I have no problem with that. What I don’t understand is why the technician’s facial expressions and attitude became increasingly unpleasant as she continued doing my nails. A language barrier is understandable; making a customer feel uncomfortable and unwelcome is not. Between the poor quality and the unpleasant experience, I definitely will not be coming back.

This was my second manicure at this place. My first experience was really good, I went for builder gel. This time I went for Russian manicure, and I would not say it was worth $110. Inconsistent nail edges, some are sharp, others are more round. I can already see visible gap from sides and near the cuticles. The whole point to get Russian manicure was to avoid these issues. My appointment time was 12:30 and I got free at 3pm. Online while booking, it said 90 mins. Spending 150 mins to get a service like this is not a pleasant experience. I would really appreciate if they can offer same service level during each visit.

1) They do not fully validate parking 2) I sat in the chair for 2 hours (walked in at 12:04 and left at 2:20) 3) I got charged 105$ for these nails (this is with discount of no fee for French tip) 4) They blocked me on instagram for commenting that original nails I wanted were quoted at $195. I would have rated higher if the nails actually came out good. Original nails I wanted were the same as my nails but all fingers had French tip + polka dots on French tips.

I got my nails done with Sophia. She absolutely killed the design, she was amazing. She did it exactly like the photo, I was so impressed. Service was great, would absolutely come back to Lamay and Sophia!

I recently went to get my mani+ pedi at Làmay salon. Cody and duke serviced me, they worked efficiently at the same time while providing me the best service. I was given tea, a head rest infused with eucalyptus (I think), they were patient with my requests and even helped me choose what was best for me. It was a pleasure being treated there as I was getting these services for my birthday weekend! The designs were exactly what I wanted but a slightly pricey for the nail designs but I did ask for a lot. But I will be going there again!
