Excellent outlet but if you are from the UK (or a country where tax isn’t added at the till?!) the discounts won’t seem that generous once you get to the checkout and US tax is applied. Still great for some bargains though. Amazing that the Mexican border is just behind the car park too - I thought this was amazing to see!

Vey cool to be right next to the border and see the wall and Mexico beyond. Walk on border entrance in back of mall. Outlet shops have some good prices, depends.

The location sits right near the international border in San Ysidro and has a huge selection of stores spread throughout a stylish open-air layout. The architecture, planters, walkways, and courtyard areas make the entire mall feel much more upscale and attractive than many outlet centers. As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I have spent a lot of time around the South Bay and border region, and Las Americas Premium Outlets is one of the best outlet shopping centers in Southern California. There are multiple high-end handbag and fashion stores including Michael Kors, Kate Spade, and Coach along with a strong mix of athletic, casual, and designer clothing shops. The food court is also surprisingly solid with a decent selection of places to stop and recharge during a long shopping trip. Parking is generally very good considering how busy the center can become, and the traffic flow through the roundabout entrances is laid out fairly well compared to many large malls. Visited Las Americas Premium Outlets and this is easily one of the best outlet shopping spots in San Diego. The biggest advantage here is the variety of brands. You’ll find everything from Nike, Adidas, Coach, Michael Kors, to many more at discounted prices. If you time it right with seasonal sales, the deals can be really good. The outlet is located right near the Mexico border, which makes it feel a bit different from typical shopping malls. It’s spacious, open-air, and easy to walk around, especially on a nice day. Prices are generally lower than regular retail stores, but not everything is a “crazy deal,” so it’s worth comparing before buying. It can get pretty crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, so I’d recommend going early in the day. Most shops closed at 8pm. From one part of the mall you can see the walking entry to Mexico. There is plenty of parking and clean toilets, the shops seem decently priced. We bought clothes from north face, nike and some accessories from AX. Highly recommended.
