San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I loved it. Good food, friendly service. I had pork and chicken taco. Roll Taco (pork). Chorizo and beans bowl. Super reasonable! I went a second time this week! Awesome!

People don't come for the good food. They come for the cultural institution that this place has become. There's long history here due to the shipyard and a few documentaries (available on YouTube) have covered it. The piping hot food and lightning fast service are the staple that made this place a fixture in San Diego. And that's hard to do in the Taco capital.

This place is definitely popular, so if you’re visiting for the first time, be prepared for a wait. The tortillas are very good, but the real standout item is the beans mixed with chorizo served in a bowl — absolutely worth ordering. I’d also highly recommend the beef rolled tacos. The salsa was delicious with a great spicy kick, exactly how I like it. Overall, it’s a very good place to try at least once because the food really delivers. Just keep in mind that the wait times can be very long. I arrived around 9 AM and didn’t receive my food until about 11:30 AM. If you don’t mind waiting, the food is worth it, but if long waits aren’t your thing, you may want to consider another spot.

Cantina hall style, full tilt HOMESTYLE Mexican food. Dang!! We came from ATL, and this was an amazing taste of SoCal comida Mexicana. Do it.

Checked out the new Los Quatros Milpas location today. Since it has been open less than a week I will cut them some slack on the speed of service. We did wait in line for 1.5 hours. My Dad has been going to LCM for 60+ years. We found the food to still be delicious. Prices have gone up a bit but the parking is SO MUCH BETTER! There is less seating but the restrooms are nicer and the location is great.
