Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

While itβs nice to have a large district with 9 campuses, the core issues are that they arenβt all in sync with each other in terms of course coding and EOPS limitations. The other major issue is mismanagement of student grants, like the Student Success Completion Grant and EOP Grant. Students are told that the school has no funds to pay them out yet other community colleges across the state are able to disburse the money. This isnβt acceptable and requires investigation.

I drove all the way downtown [from the valley on one of the worst weather days] to take the test. I spent about a half an hour looking for parking garages that would let me park; and all the attendants were baffled that a testing center wouldnβt provide parking accommodation. Finally, I just went to the 770 Wilshire Blvd. garage, and they said that they do not accommodate test takers and under their breath told me to never work for LACC. I was unable to take the test, even though I showed up 30 minutes early, due to the lack of accommodations from LACC. Furthermore, when I called the testing center and talked to Cassandra, she mentioned that my chances of taking the test were over. This facility is disgraceful, the fact that they donβt accommodate test takers, donβt mention that parking is almost non-existent downtown and that LACC doesnβt provide parking, and also donβt even describe what the test is about, is really insane. I probably dodged a bullet, if theyβre not willing to be transparent and treat test takers like humans, then I doubt they will treat you any better if you get a job there. Disgraceful College, and I have no doubt that I will find a better career opportunity.
