I really wanna say I enjoy the quality of the meats the freshness the customer service everything about This place is five stars. It’s really disheartening these days that you pay three times the cost of what Food was and we continue to believe the lie that we’re getting less food and quality because of all the high prices and higher employee fees. Well, if that’s the case, why is this place able to still produce an amazing sandwich for $18 ? I posted about eating at upper crust in Santa Cruz. I paid $25 for crap. And look at the sandwich straight amazing and taste amazing I don’t know about you folks, but if you continue to like rewarding people for giving you horrible service and horrible quality of food and horrible portions then you’re the problem of why we’re being treated like this in society today. Boycott the places that treat you like that and reward places like this that appreciate your loyalty and no that your dollar matters.

I would be here every day If I lived close. Good prices, a variety of meat choices, and they have the best beef jerky!!!

Came here because I had heard great things, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The shop itself is quite small, but it has that classic old-school butcher shop feel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I went around noon on the weekend and it was busy, but everything moved pretty smoothly. I picked up their signature sandwich, half a chicken, a small bag of beef jerky, a bag of German sausages and a ribeye. I have to start with the sandwich — it might honestly be one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The layers and balance of flavors felt almost like “flavor architecture.” The Dutch bread was wonderfully aromatic and paired perfectly with the rich smoked brisket. The cheese and vegetables added just the right touch to round everything out. I later used the half chicken to make coconut chicken soup at home, and it turned out amazing. The meat was very tender and flavorful. I heard the chicken comes from a local farm, although I unfortunately don’t remember which one. Either way, the quality was excellent and I’ll definitely come back for it. The beef jerky seemed pretty ordinary at first, and was even a little tough to chew. This is a classic BBQ Meat sandwich. You don’t come here for the new wave of fancy sandwiches that are chef created using fancy ingredients that you find on a three course meal. This is simple. Good BBQ meat. Good bread. Toppings if you want. This is perfect. Try all the meats and find your favorites.

This was a recommendation from the cashier at Mikes bikes. Absolutely spot on! After a day riding the trails the perfect solution to my hunger pangs. A truly hearty sandwich. Steak sandwich with bacon and provolone. Photo gives a better description. Huge. Tasty! $17. I don't know if the pricing is standard, never having had an American lunch sandwich before, it really was well worth it
