Lulan was incredibly kind, flexible, and generous with his time throughout the whole day. He was very open to different locations and made everything feel relaxed and easy, which we really appreciated. He also sent us some photos very quickly so we could share them with our families and loved ones straight away, which meant a lot to us. We’re so grateful for how smoothly and naturally he captured such a special day.

We booked Lulan for our Malibu engagement session, and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made during the entire wedding process. From the very beginning, the team made everything feel effortless. We’re not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but they guided us in such a relaxed and intuitive way that nothing felt forced. It honestly felt more like a fun day exploring beautiful locations than a photoshoot. What really stood out was how Lulan used the environment. Whether it was soft sunset light, greenery, or architectural backgrounds, they knew exactly where to position us to create something that looked cinematic but still completely natural. Every shot felt intentional without being overly posed!!!!

We got married at Camarillo Ranch in 2021. The photos came out beautiful they captured so many meaningful details like our “love is love” sign, our dog, the decorations, and the food. We expected something different from the drone footage but after speaking with Lulan, he explained that since our ceremony took place at night, the drone was mainly used to capture the venue, which made sense to us. They also provided all of our raw video footage at no extra cost, which we really appreciated. I had missed an important moment in those videos (but they did sent it to us) and Lulan handled my reaction with kindness, professionalism, and patience even offering to create a new highlight video years later. Overall, we truly appreciate his professionalism and the care he puts into his work.

10/10 Nick and I had the pleasure of working with Lulan and Sarah on our wedding day. They were exactly on time and prepared. They were so attentive, patient, and responsive to us. Never intrusive or demanding. Their direction felt very easy and natural; it made the unnatural process of taking hundreds of photos feel so seamless and easy. I loved that they took advantage of the space and venue. They have such a fantastic eye for composition and scale - my favorites are the wide shots that capture the cityscape behind. Their photos feel so timeless but fitting for the venue. We could not be happier with the results. I could not recommend Lulan and his team more. They were responsive to all of my questions throughout the planning process. Thank you to Lulan and Sarah for capturing our special day and giving us so many memories to cherish!

We found Lulan Studios about nine months before our wedding day. We were immediately drawn in by their professionalism and their reputation. Lulan is an inclusive photographer who was very receptive to our wedding vision. He and his team were incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful all throughout the process. We elected to go with Lulan Wang himself for our photographer who worked with an associate. After our initial consultation we were turned over to Shannon who was our go to contact for day to day clarifications and vendor contact until Lulan took over just before the wedding. Shannon was immensely resourceful and responsive. She communicated with our coordinator very efficiently and was always on top of our booking. We are very grateful to her as well for making the process so easy and for continuing that communication after the fact. On the day, Lulan and his associate were spectacular. It was clear his associate had more than enough talent for the job just like Lulan, but they divided and concurred by using two different types of cameras for different types of shots. We regret not doing an engagement session with them, but we will likely return for an Anniversary session i
