Salons, spas and fitness studios in the United States are usually best booked ahead, especially for evenings and Saturdays. Agree on the service and price before you start, ask which products are used, and check hygiene on arrival. A tip of 15-20% is customary for salon and spa services. Reviews that describe a specific treatment are the most reliable guide. Gyms typically offer a free trial or day pass before you sign a membership, so ask about the contract term, annual fees and cancellation rules.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 10 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach LUX SF at (415) 255-4589; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is luxsf.net, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 677 reviews, which is a strong result for a nail salon in San Francisco and suggests consistent service.
San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’m new to nails and started out with a not-so-great experience at another salon. Decided to try this place and have stuck with it ever since! Everyone I’ve booked with has been amazing, but Harry is my go-to. He always steers me in the right direction and helps me decide on designs. Everyone is very friendly and the salon itself has a chill vibe.

Fantastic experience with Harry, the whole team was so welcoming and friendly. I am a little bit indecisive but Harry took my inspiration photo and made magic. Someone else did my toes and I am so sorry I did not catch her name but she was also great.

chloe is my absolute fav! i am beyond picky when it comes to my nails…that being said, she puts me to shame with her perfectionism. show her literally any inspo pic and she’ll recreate it perfectly. her talent is actually insane😭 her shaping? Immaculate ~ esp with my stiletto nails! she’s sooo meticulous and makes sure every angle is perfection. her FREEHAND design work is next level ~ the way she can paint the thinnest, crispest little lines literally blows my mind every time! she’s THAT girl for nail art ~ don’t hesitate…just book her. ℓove you chloe!♡

Always impressed with how talented the nail techs are. They always create the coolest design and they’re so quick too. Both Lux 2 and Lux are great places to get your nails done. Highly recommend!! ✨
