This was my first time coming here. We came for the brunch on a Saturday. It wasn't as packed as I thought it would be. Atmosphere was dope, cool wall art, badets in bathrooms. Great service. We tried the rack of ribs (DELICIOUS) , fried potatoes (DELICIOUS), and the corn pancakes (DELICIOUS), and the spritzer drank. That was ok.

Had a reservation here with my friend group of 7 & we chose to have our seating arrangement outside due to the big number of people attending dinner. la say a reservation is a must for this restaurant. Interior design is very sleek, love the darker/faded lights concept, perfect for a romantic date. It's also pleasant to see such a clean restaurant & clean restrooms as well. It's also very spacious inside & outside patio with plenty of seating around. Our servers were pretty attentive & friendly but since we were dining outdoors, I did feel a bit of the service was slower because of it. Orders were placed pretty quickly & food came out in a timely manner. 1. Bing (Butter/Honey) (10/10) (MUST TRY) One of the best breads I've ever tasted, sweet & savory at the same time and goes really well with the butter & honey, super delicious & addicting, a must try if you're visiting Majordomo. (You can ask for extra Bing bread for extra $5 to your bill) 2. Crispy Potatoes (8/10) A nice side dish that comes with chili & lemon mayo, small portions of course since it's a side dish, a nice entry to the main meal. 3. Boiled Chicken (8/10) Comes with rice, ginger, and scallion, pretty simple and

We took my son here for his 18th birthday in March. We got the tuna carpaccio, little gem salad, bing with ricotta, jam and chili crunch and I preordered the large format whole plate short rib dish, which they deconstruct for you tableside with all of the sides. All of the food was amazing, cocktails were well-balanced, service was great. The restaurant is pretty loud and a good vibe, so keep that in mind depending on what you are looking for.

The food was good. It didn't blow my mind like some other high end restaurants I've been to, but it was solidly good and interesting. Worth $230 for 2, with no drinks or alcohol? That's pretty debatable. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, but the pacing felt rushed, like the priority was to get us done and out. Dishes came before we'd even finished the last course, and the waiter pushing dessert when we still had half our main on the table and my wife was mid-bite felt a little pushy compared to the price of the meal. Don't think I'd rush back.

One of my favorite spots in downtown la. It is Chef David Chang after all. Actually like it way better than momofuku. The short rib is phenomenal so make sure to pre order it one day before your reservation. Bing bread got a little thicker and all the spreads are amazing. We always order multiple and get extra Bing pieces. Just dont fill up on it. Boiled chicken is great! We just happened to have a lot of rice this evening with the crispy mushroom rice, the duck fat rice with boiled chicken and then the short rib fried rice. Our server this time added 2 bottles of wine to our bill and I had to go back to get it taken off and redone. Service was super slow outside. I usually sit inside but we had a large party on a friday night.
