Sleek yet cas spot with minimalist decor, great coffee, good food, and warm and efficient staff. They also have some great wares for sale that would make good gifts for someone who appreciates good design. Kid friendly. When we were there the music was some lovely Erik Satie, then some quiet Bill Evan’s which was all perfect for 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon downtown

Had heard about this place forever ago and finally got to try it, and I really liked it! The vibe is minimalist Japanese aesthetic: clean, peaceful, calming. The workers were super kind and not pretentious at all (which honestly matters, iykyk). Got an espresso and a matcha with almond milk and both were SO good. High quality, balanced, delicious. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

Maru is a masterclass in 'less is more.' From the moment you walk in , the clean lines and Serene atmosphere hit you -- it‘s the perfect escape from the LA hustle. I ordered the cream top, and it was genuinely a work of art. The coffee is incredibly smooth, and the space is so claiming I actually felt my heart rate drop. 10/10 for vibes and caffeine."

Overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐（5/5) Environment ⭐⭐⭐⭐½☆ Very beautiful space, but crowded. Parking is difficult. Drinks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ • Cream Top ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ Well-balanced and easy to drink. The coffee is slightly acidic, and the cream is smooth without being overly sweet. • Iced Breve Macchiato ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My absolute favorite. The coffee aroma is rich and intense, and it pairs perfectly with the cream. Will I come back? Yes. I’d come here specifically for the macchiato. After trying it, my friend and I liked it enough that we ended up buying coffee beans to take home.
