Milpitas is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Milpitas follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had steak and blooming fried chicken combo at Milpitas Outback steak house but I’m thinking they used the wrong breading or batter. Could some one tell me if that’s the case. Heres the photo of chicken. See how thin the crust is. It’s literally falling off the chicken. Let me know if youve ordered this before and tell me if I’m crazy ! lol.

Generally very fond of the Outback Steakhouse as the food is usually very consistent from location to location. Tonight I had the Aussie Steak Sandwich and while it called for a toasted baguette it was at best a soft Subway bun. To be honest that did not detract from the sandwich as the steak was tender and flavourful it just wasn’t quite as advertised. It came with fries and they were well seasoned and piping hot which was great. The biggest opportunity was with their service tonight. I sat at the bar and it took approximately ten minutes just to get a drink and then I am not sure if they were on a shift change as I did not see another bartender for about 15 minutes before I could then order. The new server was friendly but clearly she was not briefed on the customers currently at the bar and where they were in their service.

It is difficult to come by an Outback Steakhouse these days in the Bay Area. And I'm so glad that this one in Milpitas is standing strong. Given the name "steakhouse" makes you want to really believe in their steaks but to be frank, that typically leads to disappointment as it is difficult to get high quality beef at the price point they offer. But other than the beef, everything else in this Outback was fabulous. The salad was wholesome and well dressed. Really well balanced with bleu cheese and balsamic. The toomba bread hot out of the oven always is a crowd pleaser. And the pasta was fabulous. But what makes Outback so great is that everything is served at a reasonable price with large portions. Combine that with a fun pseudo Australian interior, clean space, and friendly service ... and with beer, you seldom get this much value for the budget. One needs to go to Outback with the right expectations. Don't go there for a classical steakhouse experience. Think of it as a TGI Fridays with an Australian twist. Good food. Good drinks. Just a place to have fun time with your crew. Finally, Gabriel - our server - was phenomenal, cementing the 5 star review. Will return.

I had a dinner date on Friday, March 20, 2026, to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday, and were lucky enough to be served by James. He was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive from start to finish. He made sure our food was perfect, checked in on us at just the right times, and never made us feel rushed when we needed a little extra time to decide. What really stood out was how he genuinely cared.l, he even took the time to sit down while taking our order, which you rarely see anymore. That level of attention and effort truly made our experience feel personal and memorable. Because of James, we will absolutely be coming back. He exceeded our expectations in every way, and we truly appreciate the care he put into serving us. Five stars all the way!

Our waiter James was very friendly, efficient and always asking us if we had everything we needed. We were a party of 14 and he handled our group very professionally very friendly and very attentive to all our needs and questions. He was very knowledgeable of the menu of the selection of choices we can do. I would definitely come back. Thank you James for service and your attentiveness. We greatly appreciate you.
