The staff go way out of there way to make you feel like you belong. And there are so many programs and services anyone can go back to school.

I studied in Palomar college from 1970 to 1972. That time it was a lovely place.small buildings.hill behind the Parking lot.with the birds like road runners. Mr Bostic was our teacher.attended many desert camps with him. It was very homely and friendly. Didn't have paid parking lots that time. Loved the place. Sarfraz Malik.

5/9/26 Update: AVOID PALOMAR College and go to Miracosta or other colleges. After our unpleasant and negative experience stated below, Palomar Admission continues to perpetuate its institutional incompetence MULTIPLE TIMES at EVERY STEP of enrollment. Their phone number is literally useless with no answer. Palomar’s application process is a complete black hole. I applied through CCC but never received a confirmation or a Student ID for enrollment, yet they had no problem sending me marketing emails two weeks later stating: "Thank you for applying to Palomar College". The "support" here is non-existent: - Phone System: A useless loop of automated messages that eventually tells you "no one can answer." - Email Support: You get an unhelpful AI response that leads to dead-end phone numbers and other email addresses with no reply. - Staff: When I finally got routed to a queue to talk to a human, I was met with extreme rudeness. The representative repeatedly talked over me, wouldn't let me finish a sentence, and showed zero interest in actually resolving the technical glitch. If you value your time and sanity, look elsewhere. They make it nearly impossible to actually enroll, and t

I've been a student (intermittently) here since 2010. As someone that loves learning and the overall "school" atmosphere, I feel extremely fortunate that I get to be a student at Palomar College; "lucked out", I would say. The teachers are magnificent and have the potential to change your life forever (I know a few that have for me already*). You can get help with enrollment fees with through the BOG Waiver - all my classes end up being free because of it. Parking permits 1/2 off also. The school is modern and always improving. Their buildings are stylish and unlike anything I've seen anywhere else. Each is unique, yet somehow they all come together to form a beautiful campus. I truly look at this campus like a second home. I love going here. (Parking can suck, that's a big reason why I try to only stick to night classes 🤓) ➡️ HOWEVER! They now have a brand new parking GARAGE! I haven't used it yet, as I am only doing evening classes, but I can only imagine how much it helps everyone be able to find parking! It is nice to know that they actually do care about the problems we face throughout college life & do what they can to help make it as comfortable & as enjoyable as possib
