Terrible customer experience. Im traumatized honestly I'm from a wealthy family, Graduated from UC San Diego, and am the founder of several highly successful businesses!, however was treated like a piece of trash thug thief, homeless rat and something, probably because I may have been a little dirty from a hiking trip and beach visit but this treatment was so humiliating being followed psychotically by security that take their job way too seriously and obviously aren't good at it, since I never steal and gave them no reason to think I do. I am probably even going to pursue this legally with my attorney honestly Im so upset, and I feel bad for people struggling that get treated like this constantly it must be hard enough in their situation and to be harassed, judged followed, falsely accused must be challenging

I don’t know how far a Yelp review goes for a grocery store, but I did want to put this experience out there. This is a very busy grocery store that gets a lot of foot traffic and can sometimes be understaffed. However, I haven’t met a single staff member who hasn’t been willing to help me in some regard and extend a hand of kindness. In line today, I was in front of a very old woman who was clearly struggling with her groceries and overall day-to-day tasks. There was a woman in a yellow vest, helping her carry her water and move her groceries down and a very kind gentleman scanning her items, one by one and helping her put in her rewards number. They were offering her a chair, offering to help carry her stuff down, or offering to call someone for her. They didn’t make her feel rushed, even though a line was forming behind her, and they took the time to treat her like a human being. I made sure to let the gentleman behind the cashier stand know that it was really sweet to see them treating her so kindly and he told me she’s a regular and they try to do what they can for her and that he hopes everyone spreads a little kindness every day. I hope anyone that gets to see that kindnes

Hey I have been coming here a long time, most everyone is friendly and security very present, prices seem higher than most stores, they do keep the store clean and nice with premium options. However shopping here seems the service could be better, two weeks ago I went the the deli and asked for sliced roast been at 730 pm but they said it’s to late as they had cleaned the slicer, so last week I went to buy dinner at 6pm from the deli, all the cooked chicken sold by the piece was gone, I asked the deli person why it’s closed up? he stated because they are short staff, really? the deli is supposed to close at 8 pm, the deli guy also said no one wants to work so they are short people, so they shut down the cooked deli chicken at 6 pm, well for how much Pavillions charges, maybe they should pay employees more to retain them? Anyway I’m going to Ralph’s now, had enough of excuses and over priced stuff, you can’t have both, poor service and charge a premium!! Lost a customer-good luck

There is a good selection of food and produce. Good customer service, elevators, escalator, and under-store parking. It's really just and upscale Vons! The deli serves some hot food, but some you must take and warm somewhere yourself. It takes the scan cvs insurance card. That's what brought me here.

This particular Pavilions replaced Vons. Variety changed. Prices went up. Bakery remains disappointing. I've been scraping glazed sugar off of my favorite raised donuts on and off for the past 12 years we lived within walking distance from Vons-Pavilions. This morning I took photos of the scraping process and decided to share. On Pavilions website I looked up information about the Nutrition and Ingredients of one 3 oz Raised Glazed Donut. As much as I love raised donuts I am not going to buy them at Vons or Pavilions. One donut weighs 3 oz or 85 grams and contains 20 grams or 40% of Sugar. I doubt any employees, managers or the Safeway executives are consuming such donuts baked at their locations. The American Heart Association recommends a maximum of 25g (6 tsp) for women and 36g (9 tsp) for men per day. I usually have two Raised Glazed donuts with my morning coffee once every couple weeks. I don't know how effective the scraping of the sugar glaze is and how much harm these donuts have caused so far. I decided to never get these donuts at any Safeway location. Would anyone want to contribute their love for Raised Glazed donuts to any health issues caused by excessive amounts of a
