Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Amazing car museum, they collection is breathtaking. They have so many cars, from so many time periods, anything you want is in there. The descriptions on each car are very informative, teaching you about what you're seeing. I recommend getting the tickets to the vault too. While much more expensive, it adds on a very extensive collection with beautiful cars, probably doubling what you see

This place is incredible. You get an incredible bang for your buck especially you pay extra for the vault. We spent 2 ½ hours in this museum easily. Parking rates are relatively cheap. The museum is clean and the staff are very welcoming. Overall a great place and worth a visit!

Whether you know little or a lot about cars, this place has it all for you and your family ! It is insane how many different types of vehicles they have here, especially when it comes to Hollywood cars or super cars! Loved the Mercedes 100 exhibit and others they have rotating around too. The vault is definitely a must try if you have time and $$$, it will open up so much more worlds and questions and thoughts you ever know about cars that not even their own experts around sometimes can’t know! It’s all part of the fun and love this organization and how they support the car community as a whole!

We made the Petersen Automotive Museum our very first stop after arriving in Los Angeles, before even checking into our Airbnb, and it turned out to be the perfect way to kick off our vacation. There is a paid parking garage attached to the museum, making it easy to park and head straight inside. Admission is reasonably priced, and if you're a serious car enthusiast, I'd recommend considering the separate Vault tour, which houses an incredible collection of rare and historic vehicles. This place is an absolute must-see, especially if you have a car lover in the family. The museum has something for everyone—from classic American muscle cars and exotic supercars to racing legends and concept vehicles. What really brought back my childhood, though, were the famous movie and television cars. Seeing vehicles from Austin Powers, Wayne's World, Batman, and many other films up close was incredible. I couldn't believe how close you could get to some of them, especially the Batmobile. It felt like stepping into the movies I grew up watching. The exhibits are beautifully displayed and constantly changing, so there's always something new to see. During our visit they had displays featuring

Something for everyone here. 52 dollars to also enter "the vault" which has some very impressive historical peices and an Enzo ferrari! I recommend having 3+ hours as the exhibits and amount of cars are truly overwhelming. There are also kid areas with touch friendly stuff. Currently they have a fast and the furious exhibit which made me drive to see this place. It was actually amazing to see the cars from the actual movies! They also have some other famous movie cars, motorcycles, and off road vehicles! They do charge for parking on top of entry which seems like piracy to me...
