Rachel photographed our elopement in San Diego and from our very first conversation I loved how generous she was with her time and the vision and organization she brought to the whole process. She is very knowledgeable about the San Diego County Clerk office, and gave excellent advice about everything from where to park to where to take the coolest shots. She captured everything from the very first moments in the waiting room in a “storytelling” style and gave us thoughtful instructions to make sure we were posed naturally and got an amazing diversity of different angles/smiles/lighting. She didn’t make us feel rushed at all and helped us feel at ease, even making sure she captured several quick photos and videos on my cellphone so I’d have something immediately available to share with our friends and family. If that weren’t enough, she also completed the editing in record time!! We couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out, and it’s going to be impossible to pick our favorites for printing. Thank you, Rachel for sharing our special day with us and working your magic on our photos!! These will become our most cherished memories!!

Our company was so impressed with Rachel's photography skills. She photographed our team pre-COVID and we were so happy with her work, we had her back for a second time to photograph our employees. She took individual headshots and group photos and all turned out beautifully. Working with Rachel is a pleasure. She is responsive, professional, and she made our staff feel comfortable in front of the camera. I couldn't recommend Rachel more.

I’m so happy I found Rachel McFarlin! As a person who hates to have her picture taken, I had mixed feelings when our daughter gifted us with a family photo session for Christmas. I spoke with Rachel and she was very understanding about my concerns. She was also willing to work us into her schedule since she understood that we would only be together for a short period of time during the holidays. When we met for the photo shoot, her warm personality made us feel very relaxed. Not being of the “selfie” generation, I wanted suggestions on what to wear, how to stand, turn my head, etc. and she was happy to oblige. All in all, I thought that it was a wonderful experience. The price was quite reasonable, based on what people charge these days, and I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. I would definitely choose Rachel again!

Rachel is hands down the best! I needed new headshots and needed them quickly. Rachel was able to fit me in to her busy holiday schedule within the week. She suggested the perfect spot and when we met, she took the time to get to know me and understand what I needed. She spent more than the scheduled amount of time with me and in the end, we had some amazing photos to choose from. Very happy from my experience with Rachel and would highly recommend her work - she's top notch.

I wish I knew someone else who was getting married so that I could so that I could recommend Rachel, I guess a review will have to do! We knew as soon as we met Rachel that we wanted her to be our wedding photographer. She met us at our venue and talked about all the places we could do photos, she was so passionate about it! She really cares about what she does. Not only did we get our pictures quickly, but they were amazing! We had a sneak peak to us while we were still on our honeymoon, and all of the pictures not too long after. I have gotten many comments from guests about how fantastic our pictures came out. I'm not even sure how she got some of the pictures. Not only did it seem like she was in multiple places at once but she captured some wonderful pictures of our guests without them even realizing it. The pictures came out beautiful and natural. I started getting stressed about time and she calmed me right now. She was a joy to be around and the wedding party and our family all loved her.
