If you are a professional with a solid background, I recommend bypassing agencies and applying directly to companies. If you are just starting out, an agency can be a helpful entry point, but for experienced administrative professionals, I have found that direct applications yield better long-term results. My experience with Robert Half for administrative placements has shown a consistent pattern. They often place temps in roles where the workload of three people is expected, justifying it to the client as "getting their money's worth." Unfortunately, this often results in a significant gap between what the company pays for the temp and what the employee actually receives. In my specific case, I discovered the bill rate being charged by the agency. When I approached my recruiter to request a rate adjustment—given the heavy workload and the margin they were holding—I was told it was impossible due to the client's budget. However, based on the numbers I had confirmed, I knew that a significant portion of my bill rate was being retained by the agency rather than reaching the worker. The worst staffing agency I’ve ever worked with. First they send you on these low wage bottom barrel jobs that show no long term stability. They have a bunch of those. Then they call you every week or two just to regather information about you and do absolutely nothing with it. I’ve been in contact with them for over a year and never got one serious interview. Meanwhile my other agencies are booking me every week. Then when they call the questions are invasive and do not pertain to them revealing information about a potential position. They want to know about your personal life and what you have going on instead of presenting you new opportunities. After a year of hell working with these people I had to check the reviews. Believe me when I say this I believe them all and the other reviews inspired me to share my story. Do not waste your time with these people. Next time they call I’m skipping the professional part and giving them a piece of my mind. No I will not be updating anyone about what I’ve been doing or any offers I’ve received. I don’t give information to people who don’t hold my best interest.

Do not waste your time!!! If I could rate this company a 0 I would! They first act very interested on helping you find employment. They make it sound very promising. After my first interview, I was told there would be another job lined up. If I could please provide my SSN and DOB which was needed for this type of job. Ghosted.. never got a follow up until I called in and had to leave a voicemail asking for an update. I received a call back a day later after I called back again, made very obvious my calls were being ignored! Please train your staff to be more professional and follow up without ghosting or ignoring calls.

Contacted Robert Half as they state they are a staffing agency and their primary targeted is for unemployed individuals. Everything was good had a great interview experience (4-3-23) signed onboarding documents then had a call from a recruiter and then all communication stopped. I followed up via phone with the recruiter, no response back after a week. Emailed Kayley (4-20-23), after 2 weeks of no communication, not even a reply back. I find this extremely unprofessional and will never give Robert Half any chance of recommendation. They say they have many jobs for me and say I’m the perfect candidate and I even applied to 12 jobs on the app and nothing gets sent to the location. Don’t even bother asking me to contact customer care because that isn’t going to solve the issue. Conduct an internal investigation and hold people accountable for not communicating, following up, and doing their jobs in a professional manner. It’s one thing to be busy over many candidates but in a professional manner nearly a month and cutting communication is disrespectful
