Being an SDSU Alumi helped me land a 67k entry job in Boston. While of course, I had to be presentable and put lots of effort into into interviewing and my craft. That connection really opened lots of doors with conversation and just reminiscing really. Great school, also Interior Architecture program is not NCIQD accredited. Hope they can get back on track, and they make everyone learn Revit. Literally if they just made students copy Harvard portfolios and learned the software my time there would have been greater. However, this dependence made me a critical thinker and I searched for the answers. I can’t say that for certain in regard to many other students who could have been “abandoned” or not taught proper tools to learn software. My heart goes out to those students who weren’t given the correct path, but carve it out of wanting something more than a hourly job and to create a legacy. Use this money to follow your passions and good luck. CO’ 2025

Ella Katherine, from quiet halls and early mornings, where discipline shaped her days, to San Diego skies wide open, where hard work now lights her way. A blonde queen with quiet confidence, grace threaded through her stride, she walks through SDSU with purpose, lifting the world she’s inside. She’s more than grades and late-night study, more than effort, more than grind— she’s community, she’s kindness, a presence rare to find. At SDSU she doesn’t just attend, she adds, she builds, she grows, a hardworking queen with vision, someone every campus knows. A special soul, a steady light, proof of what this place can be— Ella Katherine isn’t just a student, she’s part of the university.

The collective sentiment among my peers and the wider San Diego professional community suggests that San Diego State University is much more than just a beautiful campus on Campanile Drive; it is a vital engine for regional innovation and leadership. From countless discussions with neighbors and former students, I’ve gathered that the "Aztec" experience is defined by a rare synergy between high-level research initiatives and a deeply ingrained culture of student mentorship. Friends who have navigated their specialized programs often emphasize how the university effectively leverages its strong industry partnerships to ensure that the transition from lecture hall to career is both seamless and impactful. It is heartening to see an institution that stays so authentically committed to public service while simultaneously climbing the ranks of national academic prestige with such grace. Ultimately, the overwhelming consensus from those in the know is that SDSU consistently delivers a world-class education that remains grounded in the practical, diverse needs of the modern workforce.

Great university. I went to school there for 2 & 1/2 years. So many amazing professors and staff. There are so many amazing clubs and organizations on campus that everyone has something to get involved in. Great diversity of class options and students in the classes. Lots of beautiful architecture and student amenities. There's even a turtle pond on campus. Lots of beautiful gardens. Lots of historical murals and cultural sites around campus. Lots of great campus activities for students and guests (Aztec Nights). The library even has a section with computers and study-rooms that stays open 24 hours and provides safety because it has round-the-clock security who check student ID's. I highly recommend this university.
