There's a reason why this venue sells out consistently. First, the management and staff know what acts and tours to book. Second, they know how to take care of the audiences that show up to see the venues. Third, ticket pricing is more than reasonable. Center, Row 16 seats were a hundred dollars each for Sound of Music, not $300.00. Fourth, lodging for overnight stays is plentiful. You can spend anywhere from $200.00 a night to $800.00 a night. Fifth, public transportation is right there if you need it. Sixth, CalTrain's new Electric cars are the equivalent to Tesla technology meeting mass transportation. If you're retired you can hop on a CalTrain at 4th and King in San Francisco and ride to Diridon in San Jose for $5.00. Many reasons to visit San Jose for Broadway Touring Shows.

4 stars only because we bought a pre paid parking through the event we went to today it wouldn't unlock to scan $20 we had to search for a different parking and paid another fee that made us 25 minutes late for the show when we had plenty of time to park and be there on time then we were sent to a lobby with a tiny TV to wait to be seated over 20 minutes not to mention the the soda is $6 a regular can water $8 a regular bottle the prices for the snacks are insanely high.seating is actually good the show was great,if I go to a show here again I'm definitely not ore paying for parking plus there was lots of staff they were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely be drinking my own drinks before I go in.

Saw Beetlejuice there. It was a great show. The performances were well done, and the script was well written. The theater is dated, but they keep it up. The seats are a little uncomfortable...but not awful.

This building is beautiful, the design is really eye catching. Only thing I suggest is to try to buy seats on isle ends because there is no middle isle so if u are sitting in the middle of an isle, u rather have to go by a lot of peopleβs seats b4 getting to yours.

The theater is beautiful, spacious, with comfortable seats and no obstructions. The staff is friendly and cheerful, although occasionally give an inaccurate seat location directions. The on-call booth is outside, easily accessible, and has a ramp too. Memorabilia for each show is offered in the front lobby. Two concessions stands offer a few drinks options, that in order to keep it logistically simple, eliminate any glamour, using plastic cups. Would be nice to have a phone booth customized for each show and an outdoor (and/or indoor) lounge with up leveled refreshments.
