We stumbled upon Shashi while researching and I’m so glad we did. The hotel is very modern and clean with two large king size beds. The lights changes colors and my kids had a blast taking turns picking out their favorite colors. Staff were professional and welcoming. There is just one con I want to mention, we were first assigned to room 590 and I felt an enormous electromagnetic energy coming from the top of the bathroom which was the roof. It was so strong that I actually felt nauseated after being in the room for a couple of hours. I asked the front desk staff if we could change rooms and they were very accommodating and moved us to a room on the fourth floor. I would suggest not staying in that particular room but that’s the only con. Locations is also great, just around the corner of the Googleplex.

Ashley set the tone for the stay as she was very friendly and accommodating while checking me in after a long day. First impressions go a long way and her professionalism stood out while she was handling a difficult guest in a very calm and efficient manner in front of me. The layout of the property is top tier with the pool, spa, and outdoor seating areas at the center of it. The common lounge and bar area was lively. Didn’t get a chance to experience the restaurant and the coffee shop closed a bit early for us late risers. But the room was exactly what we needed with plenty of space and and some nice touches with modern technology integrated into it. Bathroom was comfortable and well designed. The double king beds were the star of the show with the mattress quality being the highest rated amenity by far and sincerely appreciated by the whole family. We have found our new go to spot for when we are in the area. Highly recommend!

We were able to secure a standard room during peak season (Stanford graduation and start of FIFA games) so that was a win! WTS, the welcoming service by Ms. Ofa and Patricia was soooo nice and appreciated! Our family was able to enjoy the service at the bar and we couldn’t be more pleased with Victor and their selection of excellent champagne, spirits, and bar food. We all had such a fun time poolside we cancelled dinner elsewhere and we were able to enjoy the private dining room which team Sashei secured. The skirt steaks, short ribs, champagne and wine list were memorable - compliments to the chef and Victor! We all slept well on the most comfortable beds (5/5 stars). The room appeared clean and we appreciated the modern and high tech features. Our family will be back when we visit Northern California and a big THANK YOU to team Sashei for a fabulous stay! Go Cardinals❣️

As a 5 star hotel, it’s disappointing. It is closer to a 3 star, hence the rating (expected vs actual, so seems fair). - walls and doors are very thin, it’s loud and you can hear people even walking down the halls - the housekeepers are LOUD. Beyond yelling to each other from down the hall, seems like they were purposely dropping things and throwing things around. - they did not give us more toilet paper when they refreshed the room, we ran out and had to ask the front desk for more. Only having one thin roll in a room seems silly. - keeping with housekeeping, they tossed the blanket, my phone charger, and my contact solution bottle (????) on the floor when they “cleaned”. Yeah, the counters were clean, but why did you throw everything on the floor….. - restaurant food options are limited and expensive in an attempt to be “luxury” but there weren’t any good options. - no breakfast included and the cafe they have is not good, better off going somewhere else, especially for the price. - no coffee in the room either. So the cafe sucks (check out the reviews over there to see) and you can’t make fresh coffee in your room either. They gave you instant coffee packs. Yum… - pool is NOT h
